Wilson vs Navarette what a farce that was. I had a feeling about Wilson. Odds were huge and he shortened come fight time. Something about him, a very dangerous fighter indeed. Even after he got pantsed in 2021 undercard on Tszyu vs Spark. I know he won the rematch. Just took on too much, too soon. Anyway, he was robbed of a world title.

Wilson vs England imo a great match up. Jackson England very capable of beating him. Politics keeping him from getting a more serious shot imo. Money talks in this sport. Hell, it talks period.

 

Charlo has been stripped. Tszyu has been elevated to full WBO world champion

Sadly it appears he hasn't been just yet. It seems like the plan is to do it after Charlo's fight with Canelo so that it can still be marketed as "Undisputed vs. Undisputed."

I read his reason for pulling out was chronic achilles tendonitis. If a legit pull out then youre looking at minimum 2-3 months rest and recovery, probably longer. Its hard to say. Since hes already been out for 10 or so weeks since the cancellation, Id be looking out for some news in the next month (or two). If recovery is slower then standard then an update might at the end of the year.

 

"The WBO has ruled that Jermell Charlo will be able to enter the ring on Sep 30 as the WBO champion so the fight with Canelo can be 'Undisputed vs Undisputed' but after he is announced as such, the title will be declared vacant and Tim Tszyu will be elevated to full champion."

Liam Wilson is a ripper of a fighter I think he belts the Argentinian. And of course Nikita vs Brubaker. Cheeky buggers having a few cracks at each other.

Also why the hell isn't Tim getting all the belts? ok I get that bs about getting the title after Charlo meets Canelo which is bs in itself. But from all accounts he's just getting one belt, and not all of them.
