The time to make the rematch was early 2019 when Joshua didn’t have an opponent and Whyte had put together a decent run.

Still 6 fights to announce as they said it would be STACKED. Surely they wouldn’t exaggerate.

Was that when Whyte rejected the opportunity to fight AJ at Wembley for the unified belts because he didn't like the rematch split? That didn't work out well for anyone except fat Andy

Given the run he went on afterwards, I've tended to believe Whyte really did have the injury on the night he's always claimed (and had to get surgery for) - if he could throw the big left more than once a round he'd have put AJ down. They'd have rematched quicker as Hearn would have insisted on righting that, and we'd probably have ended up with a proper rivalry lasting years.

Kind of give Whyte credit for being respectful with Fury last year too, you could say it wasn't blowing smoke up his arse either but at the same time he was proving the point he didn't need "beef" or to be part of the promotion, he was just doing his job.

For those reasons and many others I'm rooting for him against AJ this time around.

Their flexible pass is £5 for the first month and then £19.99 a month after that but you have to give 30 days' notice when cancelling.

Does this mean that the cheapest option for watching Joshua vs Whyte is to subscribe to the flexible pass on the day of the fight and then cancel immediately and pay the £26.99 PPV fee?

So the minimum price is £31.99. Have I got that right?

Good spot, it's exactly that, as long as you're signing up at the same time as buying either the Paul or Joshua PPVs.

This price brings down the barrier to entry @Beale and others have been talking about for a while, so seems very sensible.

I hate the 30 day notice term. It's been around for a while, but it's not a term you introduce if you're confident in your product. It's a term designed to punish (as the Americans would say "nickel and dime") those who forget to cancel straight away.
