Do you think it's not some kind of big thing Mark? When was Vitali ever stopped on cuts or almost stopped on cuts except against Lewis? Did you see the damage Lewis' fists did to that poor suckers face? Blunt force trauma and then some.

It'd be different if Vitali was cut prone like Napoles or Antuofermo but he simply isn't. To carve up his face like a thanksgiving turkey to the point where he could not possibly be allowed to fight on is indeed kind of a big thing.

Have you been slapped around by Foreman or has he slept with your wife or something?

I'm trying to think of the last time we had someone so hung up on a fighter they didn't like. Mendoza had a few, mainly Johnson and Ali I think, but even he didn't spam every thread with it. Il Duce was quite obsessed with Ali, but that was ages ago.

Redrooster of course... But when he bashed Leonard, the context was quite clear.at least.

For a long time poster, yeah it's pretty wild.

No, Holy was too small to be a top 5 heavy in the 80`s, his first fight with Bowe proved that.

I think he beat Holyfield fair - but you’ve got a point and as another poster mentioned Norton became a Myth and McCall?

Yeah but Mccall wasn’t without solid wins before and after that.

Wasn't the 45-year old Holmes the only currently ranked fighter he beat besides Lewis? An ageing Norton nearly beat a 28-year old Holmes.
