Boxing "fans" hate Fury so they're now pretending Ngannou can even hurt Fury, let alone KO him.
    "Awkward angles"

Fury KO's him in the first round

And that's exactly why anyone who doesn't boycott this s**t is an enabler of Fury's behaviour/despicable career management hence an enemy of boxing.

If an MMA fighter can just walk into boxing and K.O the HW champ, or at least give him a run for his money, that's a very bad look for boxing. Obviously fury should be able to easily beat this guy, but with heavyweights you just never know. Francis does have legit power.

It's actually a stupid risk and Fury and his team are incredible idiots.
I've seen nagoannuo one-punch Velasquez, Miocic both durable and the punches weren't even haymakers. Seems to have a good chin too, Miocic hits hard and landed flush big ones a number of times in both fights and couldn't seem to hurt him. And that's with those smaller MMA gloves.
Also a big juicer pretty clearly.
    Weird bum-rushing style.
Wlad was a far superior boxer to Peter and still got clipped and rabbit-punched to the canvas.
Wouldn't surprise me if Fury got hit with something he didn't expect up close, maybe even a rabbit punch, and got into trouble.
Sure, Fury might stay safe or even land enough on the outside and close the show, but what a stupid thing to do when you could be having a unification.
And the idea that the belts aren't on the line, it's not going to save his reputation if it all went wrong, because having the belts after being KO'd wouldn't mean anything. Or even let's say he won on points but got put down, it would tarnish everything.

Um that article doesn't say anything about it being a sanctioned professional bout counting toward records, though...

It merely states that the WBC will allow him to take part in the event. i.e. they are not going to strip him.

To my knowledge despite the careful wording by Warren and Sulaiman, it is still an exhibition, and I gather that is why it hasn't been listed on boxrec.

As this is a good fight I can't wait to watch it, it will serve as a laxative for me so I can go to the toilet.

    Where's the option for I don't care?

I didn't care when Mayweather fought McGregor or any of the other boxer vs non boxer fights. Only one I even bothered to watch the day after was Tyson vs RJJ because at least it was 2 boxers facing one another.

Its a waste of time and pointless greedy monry grab.
I like that ufc guy getting the bag to screw over Dana white's stronghold and lead it towards a way where more fighters follow suit and their sport hurts because of it. Then the talentpool for boxing gets bigger again. We cant lose out vs mma.
Thats why Fury needs to easily win to not make the sport look stupid.

Outside of that Francis should fight Jon Jones and Fury is a ***** for ducking Usyk.

Obviously Fury will win. And a knockdown in the later rounds seem the likeliest outcome if Fury at least half-ass trains for the fight. He'll coast the first half of the fight to make sure to give the people a spectacle, Then he'll turn on the gas in the later rounds, which don't exist in the UFC, and Ngannou will get gassed and then outclassed.

As far as a 1st round KO, even given Ngannou's lack of boxing skills, Fury only has 3 first round KOs, all against nobodies, and the last one was 13 years ago. Even if Fury was at his best, which he won't be, I doubt he could KO Ngannou in the first round. Ngannou's one saving grace is that he's a big guy who has taken a lot of shots, and he's never been knocked out in a UFC bout, let alone the first round. At the very least, we know the guy can take blows for 15 minutes.
