If Joshua is serious about wanting to be a real contender at the elite level again, he should push for Hrgovic to be elevated to main event and fight him instead.

I know we as fans don't like them, but AJ probably needs a few confidence builder fights. The problem is how the sport tries to promote weak confidence builder fights into big events. Back in the old days a fight like AJ vs Whyte 2 would have been a normal HBO fight. Whyte is shot to pieces and AJ coming off 2 losses and a mental breakdown. They have some nerve trying to promote a fight like this as a big event.

He beat Franklin recently , which arguably was a tune up for him. But agree that he is low on confidence and his team have to be more selective about possible opponents. I would love to see him in with Hergovic , but not at the expense of a possible wilder fight later down the line. As long as a suitable opponent can be found I think the card can be saved as there's a few good fights in there!

If a boxer fails drug testing then lifetime ban for first offence, no second chances, Whyte is truly sticking two fingers up to our sport.

The authorities either have to get tough on drug cheats or make PEDS legal in our sport, and let the teams with the biggest chemistry kits win.
