I completely agree. The case is about Dillian Whyte and no one else. Sad because I was actually looking forward to AJ vs Whyte II.
At this stage of the game is their really any point in VADA testing, it's clearly a gimmick and an expensive one at that to fool the casual's and sell the sport as being a clean one. Reality is they're all at it especially at the highest echelon's of the sport. It's the fan's who miss-out, and the only sympathy I have in regards to this situation is too anyone who was planning to attend the fight and had pre-booked hotels etc. The positive test result is simply due to the incompetence in Dillian's camp, rather than the VADA test catching up with the cheaters etc, similar to the Rivas fight and the recent Connor Benn example.
you're right. No one listened but Olubamiwo said this when he was banned. If Larry is juicing, the elites are deffo juicing.
Larry is also the classic example of why they juice. The only fight he won subsequent to getting popped was by disqualification, prior to that he was doing ok at the level he operated at.
Would be easier to just get rid of the testing and let athletes in all sports take what they want that way its a level playing field. I find it hard to condemn one man and call for him to be banned when drugs are rife in all sports and countless world champions have been crowned no doubt under the influence of ped's.
How ****ing stupid do you have to be to get popped three times in your career.. the first one was questionable as Jack3d was available over the counter and Whyte is clearly a single brain cell mong but twice since is ridiculous. Life ban for stupidity alone.
Steady on, the important thing is to make sure there's no questions around jurisdiction. That's the real reason the testing was set up in the first place.
I think the answer is you need to be stupid as Dillian. He regularly tells us he had no schooling until 14 when he landed in UK. It shows.
I'm actually glad this has happened, because I wasn't remotely looking forward to watching a rematch from a fight that did not warrant a rematch (yeah narrow that down am I right?) Plus Whyte doesn't deserve the payday. Hopefully AJ gets a real opponent as a late replacement, Hrgovic would be perfect.
I'm shocked, the guy with massive gyno, at times quite fat but big biceps is a serial drug cheat, like wow
