Yeah. Winds me up too. Obviously they're not going to admit anything.

This is why I have no affinity towards any boxers thesedays. They're all lying cheating cuuunts who act completely dumb when they get popped for PEDS. Acting like they would never cheat.

This Dillian prik had the nerve to declare himself as one of the 4 Kings. The others being Joshua, Wilder and Fury. Deluded cheating nob.

Yet boxing manages to give these twaats PPV paydays.

    Canelo
    Fury
    Whyte
    Benn (soon)
    And many many more.

Dreading the narrative from Hearn how they MUST make this fight when Whyte is cleared. How everyone wants it, everyone was gutted it got cancelled etc..

All while the Wilder fight that the fans actually want gets kicked further down the road..

I got the impression before this fight was signed that Hearn wasn't overly bothered if Whyte didn't sign, he was happy with Kabayel as long as the Wilder fight was in the pipeline.

Obviously once it sold out very fast that may have changed but if he can find a last minute walk over opponent and get the Wilder fight I don't think he'll be too bothered and cut all ties with Whyte.

It's highly unlikely given AJ's ties to DAZN, but I would wet myself if the Saudis auctioned off the TV rights for AJ-Wilder and they ended up on Sky or TNT.

C'mon he lives for these low-risk PPVs where it's a win-win for him. Normally at the expense of fights that people actually want.

Like many others, I've always had a love/hate relationship with boxing. I hate the inactivity, cherry picking, politics, corrupt judging, incompetent judging. Then all of a sudden the stars align, we get a cracking fight and all is forgotten. This current period however is testing my patience as a fan. 25 years I've followed this sport and I can't remember a time when all there was to talk about is the events that happen outside the ring. Politics, promoter beefs and failed drug tests.
I'm not going to throw my toys out the pram and say I'm done with the sport, but I'm starting to pay less and less attention nowadays, Whytes failed test is just another slap in the face for the sport, it's not a shock, just more disappointment dumped on to the pile.
I went to my first UFC event a couple of weeks ago, yeah they may have drug cheats as well, but compared to boxing it's so much better organised and there are always great fights.

Whyte has declared his innocence and self cleared himself just like Connor Henn.

Anyone with half a brain can tell that the circumstances with this fight are completely different to the BennvEubank fight. SJ just can’t help himself sometimes.

I take it that the card is now on regular DAZN?

The likeliest opponent for Joshua is Chisora as he is far more marketable than Washington who frankly is dreadful. He hasn’t fought since January 2022 and hasn’t won a fight since July 2019.

I’d sack the whole thing off entirely but obviously Hearn will want Joshua to look good before any Wilder fight this Autumn.

Journeyman War Chisora will demand his share of PPV Loot and a huge increase to fall over versus Joshua.

Another example of why the sport is in the gutter, especially in Britain, and especially with the heavyweights.

The majority of fans now seemed to have twigged on looking at social media comments; About time peers, journalists and promoters start condoning this too.

Boxing has the potential to enter the mainstream, it captures an audience unlike few other sports, however until it’s reformed it will continue heading in a death spiral where only the 1% take the cream.
