    - He won't be in a good mental space after he saw his new overhyped trainer fail to even make Spence competitive with Crawford (and didn’t pull the plug when Spence was getting battered, obvious that he had no chance)

    - He'll probably be frustrated that the Whyte rematch fell through

    - He had 4+ weeks notice for Ruiz compared to the 7 or fewer days for whoever he fights here, so the late sub PTSD could kick in hard

    - He isn't the most intelligent or adaptable fighter so he probably wouldn’t fare well with a late sub even without the psychological problems (his performance against Takam was dominant but underwhelming and Ruiz 1 was a comical catastrophe)

So Matchroom need to be extremely careful who they match Joshua with, if he fights at all. Because there's every chance that this is going to be another lacklustre performance, win or lose.

True, but Joshua must take risks and not be a coward who will be afraid of every fight, the situation is like that, but Joshua is experienced enough to adapt to any opponent, he must not disappoint the fans and must save this event...

Agreed all on points. As much as I'd like them to pick a tough opponents, let's be realistic, Whyte was chosen as a relatively risk free opponent that could sell the fight to the casuals, so as much as I'd like them to pick someone like Hrgovic or even Ruiz Jr we are far more likely to get a lower level, less risky opponent and we should expect to see an even more cautious Joshua than usual, as he will want to avoid a repeat of the Ruiz loss.

There will probably be less venom still from Joshua if it's Chisora because they're BFF's lol

AJ's problem is when a tough man handles his offense and gives it back he will fold because he's a bully

Chisora needs to make AJ reel and go defensive early...will be hard for chisora to handle getting cracked early doors.

Chisora has experience because he has been in tough fights too many times, but he is probably washed out because he suffered too many beatings, I think Joshua will beat him easily, keeping him at a distance until the late rounds and finish him with a TKO, of course if that fight happens.

If he fights Ruiz and he wins he will set a lot of things straight though. It’s high risk high reward for Joshua.

And as far as advantages go. Aside from the perceived mental advantage Ruiz would have. Rationally Joshua has the advantage because he has been preparing to fight.

Joshua is probably thinking now and his eyes are opening so he can regain his lost confidence and mentally toughen up, so Joshua let's put on a real show for us all.
