    I'm happy to know I wasn't the only who thought of this match up, I think Marquez would win the fight by ko or md. Marquez had a great right hand for southpaw fighters.

    Non biased opinion. Marquez has faced and beaten much better fighters than Tank Davis. Davis is still in his prospect phase.

    Davis is a good fighter but JMM is multiple levels above anyone Tank has fought. He wouldn't even have a punchers chance, 4 fights with Pac showed his chin was granite.

    But I actually think it would be competitive, Marquez was at his best vs aggressive fighters, other counter punchers tended to give him problems, but not enough to beat him in this match up.

    One of the interesting things about Marquez is how vulnerable he is to pure boxers and counter punchers. For an ATG he has a serious and glaring flaw. He really struggles taking the lead. It reminds me of Tommy Hearns. Who was a great fighter too, but simply could not handle pressure well at all.

    Too early to put Tank up against ATG fighters, let's give him a couple more years.

    Both Leo and Isaac ripped Tank w/ hard shots that seem to bother him. Marquez as you know, ain't no joke when it comes to accuracy and power.

    JMM beat real opponents and top opponents at that. He didnt fight sparring partners and YT/IG models.
