All true, but that’s also talking in hindsight. Spence vs Crawford was the fight that had to be made. And it’s on Spence how he showed up. Although I do respect his heart. Crawford did what he had to do.

So to me me the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Right now I believe Crawford is #1. But I think not too far in the future it will be Inoue. I expect a lot of A side B side bull**** from Crawford and Charlo while I believe Inoue will keep making fights.

 

Fulton was talking about moving up to 126 the previous year, he’d been inactive for 14 months. On top of all that, Inoue dragged him to his backyard. So he gets 0 credit for his win over Fulton.

Nonito Donaire was moving down in weight, he had 4 losses and he was in his late 30s. Inoue gets 0 credit for his 2 wins over him.

Unlike Spence, Jaime McDonnell looked dead at the weigh in. He was barely standing up, people didn’t need to see him get obliterated to tell he was drained. So Inoue gets 0 credit for the win over him.

Oh, and Crawford suffered from a gunshot to the head(15 years ago). If it weren’t for that, he’d have KOd Spence in 1.

I think that is the correct call Bud has been around for a minute and the Spence fight was talked about for a long time. Spence as well was recognized as a P4P fighter himself. Inoue fans shouldn't worry as the dude is only 30 and he will likely hold the number 1 spot for many years after Crawford is gone.

 

Yeah I was going to say that Tank and Haney have no business being on the list. We all know that Haney got his ass beat by Loma. Tank is a great fighter but his best win is Ryan Garcia. Beterbiev should be on the list.
