He should be fighting 3 times a year. I am sure they can fit Ennis in there and whoever Crawford would like to fight.

But why ? he was never that active and fighting that guy would give him no credit.

Bud is fighting once per year since 2019

Yes he needs to get active. Fighting once a year is not acceptable.

I would have been interested in Crawford/Charlo but not anymore. I'm sure Charlo will make the weight in order to get a Bud payday, but he won't be the same fighter he was before going up to 168. It's too demanding on the body.

Mandatories deserve their shot. But if he fights:
    a) rematch per the contract, or
    b) drops belts and moves up to 154
    Both scenarios are fine.

If he sticks at 147 and faces a gimme, that's a poor choice.

Well, give up the IBF then if you don't want to fight your "Mandatory".

Never understood why this has become a thing. I’d say it’s fine if you aren’t holding up fights as a champion. But if you are the champion, it’s your job to defend against the best possible opponents. If not, why fight for titles in the first place? Fans going along with boxers choosing who the best fit for that particular fighter is what makes this sport suck. Too many fighter fans, not enough fans of the sport.

Here we go. Now Charlo won't be the same if and when Crawford fights him. LOL

WTF? I have Crawford No. 1 PfP.

But we have seen what happens when guys, in their 30s especially, bounce up and down in weight. Tough to go back down.

So, who he needs to fight then ? If not the guy who has all the belts and considered best in the division.
