His power is a myth, name one live opponent who wasn’t old or past it who he stopped..

100% mate. The one I give him credit for is Wlad. He wasn’t as past it as many said, if only he was less ring rusty he may have shattered the hype job and Hearn’s cash cow years earlier. I thought Wlad was superb in that fight very entertaining rather than his jab and grab rubbish we’d had to see for a decade.

I don't know. Take for instance his fight against Safety Pin Kevin Johnson. Like let's ignore his title fight against Klitschko. In reality he was a high end proper journeyman. A fighter who knew how to go the distance against anybody. Joshua wiped him out in 2 rounds. Let's look who he took the distance. Fury, Vitali, Chisora, Charr, Pulev, Andy Ruiz, Dubious, Hergovic, Wach, Kaybel, and Hammer. Not to mention a few shock stoppages of fringe contenders. That's a whose who of the last and current era of HW's. Joshua did what they couldn't do. wiped him out early.

"He has lots of punching power but not as much speed" according to Wladimir. Boxing News today, Jermaine Franklin was talking about him being a "Strong puncher." These guys know.

Is it not possible after being a pro for years and fighting the likes of Fury, Vitali, Chisora, Charr, Pulev, Andy Ruiz, Dubious, Hergovic, Wach, Kaybel, and Hammer that maybe he didn’t have much left in the tank or just come for a payday? I Would hardly say Johnson is good indicator but maybe I’m to much of a skeptic

he made a meal of that though didn’t he went to hell and back but probs last time he had fire in his belly I won’t take that away from him… but was wlad in any worse state when rocked than AJ was earlier in fight when he was allowed a chance to recover but the ref jumped in to stop the other?

That jab and grab rubbish ruined the division for ten years. Glad that Joshua stopped him.

No probably not. You’re preaching to the converted mate I agree with everything. Wlad the only one I was half impressed with though.

Clifton Mitchell’s son who’s sparred with a lot of heavyweights including Parker and Fury said he was the heaviest puncher he’s ever sparred with.

Definitely has the power maybe not the speed though.

His fight with Joshua was only a few years after the Fury fight. Not to mention 'Kingpin' would go on to ice Pianeta and Joan Pablo Hernadenz years after getting crushed by Joshua.

One of the most real interviews from a heel fighter after a loss.

Think its more a case that the fighters at the higher level see the punches coming better, ride the shots better and create harder angles to let you tee off with that power. Better defence etc.

Still feel like they,ve went down the wrong avenue with joshua trying to turn him more into a boxer.

His powers good enough....he just needs to set it up better. I think wilders team had the right idea. Using distance to bring people on to him throwing with bad intentions every time.

Joshua doesnt hit as hard as wilder...but he does have the power to cause pretty much anyone big problems if he learns to throw big at the right time as opposed to trying to box away and see what happens. Theres probably a reason they,ve shied away from that. But the boxing away and see what happens isnt great without a solid chin and stamina that doesnt deplete quickly if you do get hit big.

Wilder, klitchko and fury all do or done similar things a lot of the time. When the opponent comes forward they move backwards. Leaves the opponent needing to breach a type of no mans land leaving them open to a big shot coming in. If the opponent doesnt come forward they slowly edge forward judging the distance to get a solid jab off. Joshua needs to sort his foot placement out and start doing that exact same thing to start getting that power off. I m not sure his judgement of distance is good enough for it but its something they should have been working on from the start.
