    In no particular order:

    - Larry Holmes
    - Sonny Liston
    - Wlad Klitschko
    - Muhammad Ali
    - Carl Williams

some may scratch their heads at Carl Williams being on the list. But for all his other shortcomings, I do feel that his left jab was probably among one of the best

    Based on effectiveness:
    1. Holmes
    a lot of distance
    2. Liston
    3. Foreman (if he used it)
    4. Ali (mostly because of his handspeed. actually his his agility, and overall timing, reflexes and distance control made his jab that effective.)
    5. Buster Douglas (a hell of a jab...very underrated)

....Tyson, Wlad, Lewis, Louis...in no order. Maybe Holyfield and Bruno 9, 10.

I very much disagree. He very rarely shut out fights with the jab even in his prime, unlike pre-exile Ali, who did it with ease. Berbick, Snipes, Shavers, Weaver, all got around it various times to have their moments.

Ali, and Liston's are the best for my money. Much more versatile. Both, unlike Holmes could change the trajectory and direction of the jab after throwing it, which was particularly suitable, for swarmers.

    5. Lennox Lewis
    4. Larry Holmes
    3. George Foreman (can easily switch with Holmes as Foreman didn't always bring the jab)
    2. Muhammad Ali
    1. Sonny Liston

    Holmes
    Liston
    Wlad

    In order

    1. Ali
    2. Liston
    3. Holmes
    4. Louis
    5. Wlad

I will never succumb to the belief that Ali didn’t have the best jab of all time.

Wlad better jab than Lewis? How do you sell that theory to somebody.. We both agree Sam Peter isnt getting close enough to Lewis to down him 3 times ?
