Let's End This Debate: Was Spence 100% or Was Crawford Just Superior In Everyway?

I assume all these people complaining about being drained are going to pick Spence to win at 154?

 

Here's a list of the dumbest reasons I've read so far:

• Spence made 147, so he definitely wasn't drained

• Spence beat Danny and Ugas, therefore he was prime

• Spence was inactive for 16 months, but the rest allowed his body to heal

• Spence didn't look different during the ring walk from Ugas to Crawford

• Spence is as good as his last fight, which was against Ugas 16 months ago; inactivity doesn't matter

• Spence being thrown 70 feet and his face slamming into the pavement losing all his teeth had zero effect on him as a fighter

• Spence's even slower, slurred speech post accident is not due to a slip in cognitive abilities, but rather from his new fake teeth

• Spence made 147 safely and effectively and his repeated calls for a rematch at 154 is due to Spencer not caring about belts and not wanting undisputed status — nothing at all to do with the 5 years of complaining about making 147

Y'all brain dead sad sack individuals will say anything to pump up Crawford's win over Spence's drained corpse.

 

Lmfao! Picking and choosing once again depending on your agenda. Eye injury fake but being drained is real. Man just give it up.

I supported Spence as the home boy. I think Spence, for all the reasons already stated, is beyond his best shape. Going up to 154 won't help. He's done IMO.

However I believe any model of Crawford defeats any model of Spence.

 

I don't give a sh*t if Spence was 100% or not. His job was to be 100%. If he wasn't, not TC's fault.

 

Undue credit for what? A made up fanboy driven P4P list that literally mean nothing?? Is that what gets you're blood boiling, placement on a fake list that EVERYONE has different criteria for??

All the sudden those Spence and PBC cheerleaders are qualified medical personnel revealing undiagnosed head/brain trauma despite the fact that - you know - at least 1 (and probably several more than 1) physicians medically CLEARED Spence for boxing meaning his injuries (if there were any) did not prohibit him from competing and did not put him at risk, medically speaking.

The whole group of Floyd nuthuggers latched onto PBC without using 1 single brain cell. And they celebrate when any PBC fighter succeeds as if its their own success.

Loved seeing Terrence humiliate and brutalize Spence. The backtracking that's occurred and the amount of YT comments of people crying has been so redeeming. Love it

I've never seen someone try as hard as you to convince others that P4P lists are meaningless. I mean, good for you?

But many of us do find P4P lists as a guide to the best fighters in the sport and it's a great subject for debate.

And it's meaningful for most fighters as well.

 

Spence obviously was not in top form. Just look at this ring walk he looked absolutely terrible.

With that said Crawford cannot be blamed for the condition Spence showed up in or for the fact Spence had an off night. It's like in the NBA when people apply asterisk to Championships because of injuries or the bubble year... That's part and parcel of the game everyone operates under the same conditions.

Spence may not have been his best but Crawford should receive full credit for his victory and performance.

 

Not a single person has blamed Crawford for Spence being drained to death. Are you just making things up?

 

I thought it would be a close fight but boxing proved me wrong. Again.

- Boxing is rock, paper, scissors.
- Crawford had an excellent game plan to take Spence out of his zone. Crawford can adjust, Spence cannot.
- On paper Spence was a great great fighter close to his prime. However the record does not take into account the car accident, injuries. inactivity etc.
- Crawford deserves total credit. Sometimes the best make difficult things look easy. Remember PBFs masterclass against Canelo? Canelo was still a great great fighter.

 

Never seen anyone cry as much over a fake list as you do.... It's no wonder you only root for guys who are on the P4P list. makes you feel smart don't it? You remind of thw Floyd fanboys who love him more for being undefeated

It doesn't work that way. Yes, Crawford deserves full credit, but the grading the win appropriately has to be based on evidence.
