Why some people wish for no undisputed? Many people not boxing fan and enjoy too much complain about Fury as ducker. If fight in 2024 , enjoyment is finished.
2 of AJ last three fights have been with the number 2 heavyweight in the world, and his next fight after Helenious is almost a lock to be the 3rd or 4th ranked heavyweight in the world. So in the span of 4 fights he will likely be fighting 2 top 4 opponents. By the time Fury fights his next highly ranked fighter he will likely be closing in on almost 3 years without facing a legitimate opponent. Apples and oranges.
Hey Kirk your comment made me laugh because you are not playing, talk about going for the jugular. Nice one Sir.
Todd has been more or less running the day-to-day operations of Top Rank since about 2010. He keeps a relatively low profile.
Yes that true. I like Todd like Uncle Al Haymon he is not trying to be a star. In fact the public can’t even recognise them.
Would you like some chips w/ your red herring? My comments were what has AJ done since b2b losses to Usyk. Since his 3rd fight w/ Wilder Fury has faced Whyte & Chisora, easily defeating both. I can hardly see any meaningful difference between Whyte-Chisroa vs. Franklin-Helenius (replacing an even more faded Whyte). See above. Hardly an even tangerines & oranges difference. I've never argued that Fury isn't a problem. I just find that he's become some sort of poster man-child for what's wrong w/the HW div. In other words criticizing Fury is popular and therefore overdone. My main point is that he's far from the only problem in the HW div. Btw, in the past 4-5 years what bout or series of bouts has equaled the Fury-Wilder trilogy among the HWs? The only contender is Usyk-AJ I-II and in my view that falls short. Certainly the Fury-Wilder fights were more entertaining and at least as high a quality of fighters as Usyk-AJ.
