Fury and Joshua were once my two favourite fighters. Now I hate them both with a passion. Joshua should of brought Hrgovic up and fought him. Instead he’s fighting a guy who only just fought last week! Apparently Joshua needs a year in between fights but his opponents can’t even have 6 days inbetween?

Hrgovic fight needs more built up. This is on Whyte to be honest.
Aj does need a solid december oponent after this if he wants to get back in the mix.
Wilder, Hrgovic or maybe Zhang/Joyce winner.
Im not including Fury cause he would be ducking anyway.

Hrgovic already had a fight scheduled vs McKean, it's not AJ's fault Whyte tested positive. Although I wouldn't of minded Ruiz as a replacement, I don't believe has any opponents lined up and a trilogy would've been a nice incentive.

But all in all I'm not really that bothered aslong as AJ vs Wilder happens in December.

I get the impression you're pissing in the forum's pocket here.

What about Demsey Mckean who's scheduled to fight Hrgovic? Take away his chances of putting himself in the top spot for a challenge at Usyk?

Well whenever it happens aslong as hes fights someone good in the top 10 after this fight like Zhang/Joyce winner, Hrgovic, Wilder, then I can overlook this fight.

Not that it can be helped anyway that Joshua's opponent tested positive for a banned substance, they had very little time for a replacement.

Joshua is a mentally fragile Glass Jawed fighter. He’s finished.

McKean is not gonna win and everybody including himself knows it. Matchroom could of just paid him to not fight.

Oh yeah when he defeats the very tough opponent of Francis Nagnnou. Infact I heard my grandma is scheduled to be the replacement in case Ngannou pulls out.

So take away another man's opportunity at fighting for a world title? Considering he's undefeated? Is that the mentality that you adhere to?

    My thoughts:

When you said Helenius fought last week, I went to go and check the exact dates. It was 5th August when Helenius last fought, and now on 12th August, 7 days later, he's fighting Joshua. I am dumbfounded that Helenius is going to be boxing 1 week after his last fight. I know it was only a 3 rounder and not a war... but I can't see on what planet this is a good decision for Helenius. My thoughts on Helenius' last opponent: Mika. The guy was the definition of amateur / tomato can. And it still took Helenius 3 rounds to dispatch of him. A boring 3 rounder. Nothing special here.

Joshua's last KO was 2 years ago against Pulev and it took 9 rounds to do it. Franklin (AJ's most recent fight) took Joshua 12 rounds. After watching both fights, Joshua wasn't the same as he used to be. He was stiff, he was throwing punches but they had little conviction in some places.

All that said, I still see AJ winning between rounds 1-6 - and I think he needs to have a devastating KO like Wilder displayed to set up a potential Wilder vs Joshua fight. If AJ takes too long to end the fight, I think I'll lose interest in seeing AJ vs Wilder.

So hrgovic fight news a buildup but Helenius fight doesn't?

    How does that make sense?

This fight is passable since it's not a PPV and it's a last minute replacement, but let's not pretend it's the only option available.

AJ has many better fighters willing to face him tonight.

I think you all in my humble opinion are missing the point.

What about Demsey McKean? A promoted fighter?
