Inoue is a better fighter obviously but he's only had 1 fight at Featherweight, vs one of the lightest hitting champions currently with only 8 stoppages.

Hamed was a murderous puncher and one of the hardest hitting Featherweights of all time, a prime Hamed would be by far Inoue's biggest challenge to date.

I know it's like the popular thing to do now to discredit Hamed because of his loss to Barrera, and TBH i'm not a big fan of his but Hamed gets underrated nowadays IMO.

Styles make fights. Barerra's technical brilliance was comparable to Inoue and he was naturally bigger.

We are talking about a much better fighter than Nonito Donaire.

He beat Donaire twice? Nearly killed him in the rematch.

That rematch was three years later and Donaire was nearly 40.

Ok? Still won both fights. Barrera still couldn't beat a one handed fighter in JJ

Sloppy boxing ability ? he outboxed two Mexican ATG's in Barerra, Canizales, who are far better names than anyone Inoue has beaten, outside of Donaire who was on the wrong side of 30.

Styles make fights. He did much better against JMM than he should have, for instance.

I think Naz could beat Inoue at 126. We are talking about a bigger fighter with arguably p4p goat power. He is dangerous for a lot of smaller guys at feather with his unusual style.
Would have been a great fight.
