Duran all day long. Duran fought and defeated top to great WW to MW. Did Pryor ever even fight above 140?

Nonsense. Leonard made him a career high offer and Pryor declined plus a guy who fought the likes of Duran, Hearns, Benitez and Hagler isn't scared of anyone least of all a smaller guy like Pryor.

As For Duran VS Pryor it would be an entertaining fight but Pryor was too sloppy and too reckless to beat a guy like Roberto who stops him around the tenth round.

I think this fight ends sooner than most think, Pryor will get into a shootout he can't win. Duran by KO in 5.

The ref would stop this fight. Duran would put a savage beating on Pryor.

Pryor will need a lot of black bottles for this fight.

Duran signed a contract to fight Pryor. Pryor refused to sign. He knew damn well Roberto would whip his ass.

The idea that Sugar Ray Leonard was afraid of Aaron Pryor is a complete myth. Pryor didn’t have much to offer and wasn’t a big named fighter like Duran or Hearns.

Roberto Duran vs Aaron Pryor would be a highly exciting fight for the first 4 rounds until Duran starts to pick off Pryor using his wild aggression against with sharp counters and better in-fighting. If a naturally smaller Arguello was able to trouble and rock Pryor with huge right hands than Duran would have done even more so.

Pryor turned down a career high payday. Well documented.

It really is imagine fighting Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Benitez, and somehow being scared of the smaller Aaron Pryor absolute nonsense.

Yeah it never really made sense. Pryor declined a $500k offer to fight Sugar Ray Leonard. I think people like to use Pryor’s amateur win over a younger less powerful Hearns as a measuring stick of his ability against the top fighters but the truth is that all of the Fab 4 and Benitez would have easily beaten Pryor.
