Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua vs. Robert Gabriel Helenius & Filip Hrgović vs. Demsey McKean RBR

It's weird how Joshua's career turned out isn't it.

Went from being one of the biggest names in British sport to struggling to sell out the O2. I'm not sure I understand why he's making these shitty fights and not just rolling the dice and fighting Wilder/Joyce in Wembley.

I think once you reach the pinnacle of the sport (being a huge name and selling out stadiums) you can't go back and reset. You stay at that level and if you can't hack it anymore you retire.

 

So the only two questions I got about this next fight are:

a) Does Chisora destroy Washington in the phone booth or coming off the ropes?
b) Will Washington have time to get himself properly gassed before it happens?

 

The worst issue about this fight card is the round card girls. They look like they just came off the streets of Birmingham from a hen do.

ProBoxTv had three outstanding girls this past Wed night.

I was watching these 2 sluggish dudes fight right, and then this rabbit jumps in the ring and starts hitting one of the dudes in sides and back of the head, it was crazy. Must've been pissed that one of the dudes kept holding and putting his head on his chest.

 

Eddie Hearn talking about pound for pound like it means something. Dirty ugly worthless piece of grub. This little midget isn't taking over anything but a freak show.

 

First man to hurt granite chinned Joyce in the pros though. Talking about Joyce, he would maul Hrgovic IMO

 

Seriously what a garbage fight. A guy who looks like he graduated valedictorian from the Okolie School of Hugging vs. A lethargic rabbit puncher.

Usyk-Hrgovic is super unnecessary but I'm looking forward to Usyk shutting this dude out.

Hrgovic threw rabbit punches because the ref allowed him to get away with it. I think he warned him once throughout the whole fight.

The ref allowed McKean to grab and clinch all night.

The ref should have stopped the clinching and stopped the rabbit punches early on. He could have taken control and he didn't. That's why you don't put 70 year old refs in with heavyweights.

Zhang fought that entire fight against Forrest flat-footed (he has serious problems with calcium deposits on the balls of his feet and heels) and in a state of electrolytic shock.

I'd say it's more remarkable that Forrest couldn't stop Zhang than that Zhang couldn't stop Forrest.

 

I'm stealing this, but wanted you to know because I have manners and stuff.

 

McKean repeatedly held and dropped his head going in. He was throwing for the guys face but you can't help it if the opponent ducks. I'll agree the ones at the end were wrong though. But to suggest he purposefully did it all fight is inaccurate.
