Anderson will be the champion, so far he has a very good resume and will become even better with time.

I don’t think he’s on the level of a Fury, but I doubt there will be another Fury in the next generation.

 

He's not slow but I agree on bad balance and his punching technique does need to be cleaned up. I've said a number of times on here he's not one of those guys that can fight 10 fights and be "a contender". He is definitely a work in progress.

 

He'll likely win a belt at some point, which says a lot about the state of the young HWs. It's not promising to be sure.

But to the OP, no one thinks Anderson is great. He clearly has improvements to make based on the Martin fight. He's very young and will improve, but I think he lacks the power to be elite with that style.

 

Anderson and Torrez Jr. will win at least one belt

Fury, Wilder, Usyk, Zhang, Joyce will be gone and Makhmudov, Sanchez, Ruiz and so on will be to old

The trouble with boxing is fighters start getting called the new Mike Tyson/Ali/Mayweather before they've even beaten a fighter anybody has heard of.

 

It was Arum who said that he did not see HW that talented since ALI. Which is BS and fans know it

 

Problem with him is his heart isnt in it. Yes all boxer are fighting for a payday but other boxers live and breath boxing. Anderson only see it as a short term payday and wants out as soon as he can. It shows in the ring. Good enough to get a belt (if the belts fracture ) and decent pay but skill wise he will never be great at it.

Ya, boxing will fade .. times will change.. especially with the coming global crisis .. all by design let me add.. it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things it's just a sport.. but it's always been a bit of escapism for me.. but I do get the sense it is on its last legs I agree.. and it certainly doesn't go along with the current feminisation of men agenda they are forcing upon us daily..
