Patterson's my pick. My God, his combos were a thing of beauty even if it wasn't exactly the most technical, and left him off balance quite a bit at times.

    Hector Camacho
    Meldrick Taylor
    RJJ

For Heavyweights Michael Dokes, Tony Tubbs, had very quick hands.

Either Meldrick Taylor, Roy or Macho Camacho. When I think of handspeed those are the first 3 that always pop up in my mind

So many fighters that had extremely fast hands , it's hard to say just the "one" who was the fastest.
Even fighters that were not " Great" could land combo's so rapidly, its hard to know exactly what they landed.
For instance Howard Davis Jr. Lightning Lonnie Smith, Virgil Hill, Charlie "Cho Cho" Brown, Michael Dokes.
Not one of them are considered " Great". But they are some of the fastest boxers in their weight division history

Roy Jones Jr. Always stood out to me . Leonard with combo speeds. Hearns with one punch delivery.. Camacho with rapid fire. There is just so many differnet types. Even Edwin Rosario with his counterpunching speed and natural delivery.

Meldrick Taylor's flurries were the fastest I've seen. Power punches - Jones.

P4P…hard to argue against a prime RJJ or SRL, heavyweight I’d say Patterson Ali or Tyson

I've mentioned this before when the question came up, but the fastest i ever saw was a Mexican flyweight named Halimi Gutierrez. Now one might say a flyweight is normally going to be faster than most, however, he broke the sound barrier for flyweights as well. I saw a couple of his fights in '70-'71 and let me tell ya, his hands were the closest thing I've seen to a blur.

Steve Forbes said that he sparred Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Roy Jones Jr. and stated that Jones was faster.
