Yeah from what I heard, Tibbs got annoyed at Daniel Dubois' dad constantly getting involved during training so they agreed to part ways. With McGuigan, it was something to do with Caroline Dubois moving out of the family home, and their father saying to McGuigan he can either train Caroline or Daniel, and McGuigan chose to train Caroline so Daniel left. Granted that decision could also be because McGuigan saw that Caroline Dubois was being treated unfairly, but I think it also shows that he didn't really see Dubois beating Usyk next as Dubois was mandatory at the time.

Shouldn't be Washington. That would be terrible.

It's still similar. You could say Joshua got up after the first 3 knockdowns and continued.

 

Get the Joshua Fan Club and Matchroom FC fans to demand the fight with Bakole.

Not a bad fight tbf. I'd slightly lean towards AJ but Dubois will keep coming, and if AJ goes in as cautious as he did against Helenius, it could be troube for him.

Can't see this fight ever happening having said that.

 

If Wilder isn’t until March then any “free to air” runout will be acceptable for me as it’ll allow Matchroom to create a show around it and give other boxers the opportunity to fight. Plus Joshua staying active.

TBH - I’m going to be rooting hard for Joshua over Wilder, so I’m hoping for extra activity will help.

 

Jesus Christ, there’s only do much **** you can take on this forum but DD beating AJ - **** me there is literally no chance. As for Bakole - really, that is even less likely than DD? Next someone will say Hrgovic beats AJ

And before anyone says anything and thinks they know boxing - anyone and everyone that knows just a little of boxing knows AJ was overhyped - but that doesn’t mean he gets beat by this level of fighter…and if you really think that you’re worse than the casuals that bought into the AJ hype

 

Activity is very important. That would be his 3rd fight in 8-9 months if he fought in December, all off PPV. I do think though there are better options than Washington who are less risky. Obviously with Wilder on the horizon they don't want a 50-50 fight, but Washington would be coming off a loss to Chisora with no big wins since 2019. I'd take Kabayel over Washington.

I don't think Joshua will fight that type of opponent though. I think it will be Wilder next. He hasn't earned a load of money fighting these fighters off PPV who he knows he can beat without getting out of second gear. Let's see what happens.

@GDM74 The Forum heavily hyped up Dubois to beat Joyce before I joined. One of the reasons I joined here was because of that as I couldn't believe what I was reading.

Everybody knows Josh is terrified of getting hit, it is obvious to himself, i would not write off DD for one second if this fight were to be made, i would actually pick him to stop Joshua, just one solid shot on his chin and he is gone, i can't see it being the other way around as Josh would be too scared to commit, especially with a younger quicker and huge puncher in DD.
DD in 5 for me.

 

Ruiz would batter Dubois aswell. The hate you have for Joshua is clouding your judgment. Joshua beats Dubois all day long. He would jab his head off round after round until he landed his right hand.
