This is the biggest problem. It’s the Wild West and clearly needs either 1 governing body overseeing everyone including the sanctioning bodies and the alphabets. Boxing shamefully needs a FIFA but without the corruption. Overseeing drug testing, cheating and throwing fighters etc. fighter well-being and contexts etc plus corruptions within the governing bodies.

I actually agree with you in principle, but Matchrooms handling of fails does not strike me as a company that actually has any interest in it.

Whyte vs Rivas and Benn vs Eubank were both horrendous.

Do you include Joshua in that ?

I agree with you, just interesting if you of all people were to suggest he’s included.

You can't complain about such a thread then claim every top level fighter is on the juice

I don't think Matchroom will handle drug test failures like that in the future to be honest, but I do agree with you.
Yes, I have said that before. I get called out for apparently being pro-Matchroom / Hearn / DAZN. What about the user who started this thread - what is he?

    Don't agree with your statement.
Moreso on the British scene. Far more of the top fighters are clean.

I have an issue with the length of time this agency MR are using took to report the failed test from the time the sample was taken. Putting that aside, it’s a very good thing that cheats are actually being caught and MR have been leading the way in many respects in terms of testing- credit to them.

    That's just not true.
Fighters like Frampton, Froch, Josh Taylor, Warrington, Selby, Jamie Mac they are all world champions non of them were juicing.
Doe some strange reason because a few have been caught everyone is at it, that's your reasoning but it's not the case.

this. Lots of them are, lots of them are not. Just because the poster types every in capitals doesn't validate it as true. The sport is sadly rife with PEDS, but it does not mean everyone is using them. That's reductive. And stupid. And likely from someone who does not know about PEDS.

I do agree. Unfortunately, social media etc can turn a burning match into a bonfire. There’s been that many high profile positive tests. It really doesn’t do the sport any good. Cheating is bad at any level, but the better known you are, the bigger news it is. Not a great look for British boxing at the minute.

Jessica McCaskill is pointing the finger at Matchroom’s involvement in Alycia Baumgardner’s failed drug test and Hearn now threatening legal action.
