Who had the better career in your opinion Mayweather or Pacquiao?

I for one believe there's only 2 things perfect, that's god and Floyd Mayweather s record! I don't believe he waited for PAC to get old, he himself was older too. I see him as the better of the two p4p based on their fight and who won. BUT I think p4p of his era is different than atg status, which Manny ranks higher in! What's harder? Undefeated pro record or champion in 8 divisions? Losses don't mean ****, look at Roy Jones still is Superman. Lol, but seriously PAC took on all comers, and was the PEOPLE s champ!!! The most coveted position a boxer could possibly had: he gave back to the poor, inspired many, was there for natural disasters and politics. He also reduced the crime rate to 0% in Phillipines when he fought! What has Floyd done? Surrounded himself by bouncérs while dropping his kids off at school like a scared man! While Pacquiao invited lookers on to comfortably join in during his roadwork in the mountains! And urged them to watch his workouts!!! All the stars and nobodies were welcome in wildcard! How many vets showed up at money team gym? Moot point. Pacquiao garnered the hearts and love of many even Mosley, and Cotto confessed he was the goat. While Floyd is on his own level pound for pound for his generation/ modern times, PAC is historically compared to Henry Armstrong, the 4th best atg in history. At most Floyd can say he's too ten p4p why not? But Pacquiao ranks higher, and this goes well with the older fans as well. So I think Floyd was the better boxer, but Manny was the bigger person; the embodiment of a boxer/ fighter who went from rags to riches and never forgot anybody on his way up. My mind says Floyd but my heart says Pacquiao AND HIS HISTORIC RUN TO THE TOP will never be duplicated!!!

I like how you threw in the boxers from every generation, it was quite interesting! But to an aside, hopkins fought as high as light heavyweight, what woulda happened if he had moved to hw much like toney and Roy, to face big George Foreman at heavyweight? The Atg battle of grandpa's for the slice of the American dream pie!

Pacquiao for me, the hot streak he went on was nuts, just made a mockery of the idea that weight divisions matter. More likely to see 50-0 broken than a 9 division champion. So yeah Pacquiao.

Jimmy Wilde and Julio Cesar Chavez both had much longer runs without a loss than Mayweather. Yes, their runs included a draw in each case but that hardly tarnishes them.
