Uh-oh...slacker Kevin showed up. If he sticks around this will end up being a "tale of two halves" draw. (on my card...who knows if Johnson is "Russian" enough to avoid getting the foreigner treatment on the official scorecards now)

Petrovsky is going berserk, throwing several hammering downward shots at once with both hands. Mostly his forearms are colliding with the back of the head as Johnson is bending over low in front of him when he attacks. Johnson doing a lot of sitting there in a shell getting wailed on now, not so much the beautiful movement and jab countering he was doing before. The ref pauses the action to have Johnson's corner look at his glove tape as it had gotten loose. Fixed, time in. Petrovsky is jabbing at the midlly swollen left eye of Johnson, but eating counter left hooks from a slightly woken up Johnson.

I'm not sure how they could find Petrovsky winning four of the six rounds there. He was coming on for sure and were it scheduled for a longer duration he would have taken it on points by attrition since Johnson was already mentally checked out, and it may well have been a cuts TKO anyway - but Petrovsky didn't win 4 of the 6 rounds. Vice-versa.

 

I'm not sure what that bauble Valuev handed him is supposed to be about? Pretty enough decoration (dig the silver & red) but you don't get a title worth more than a paperweight for a 6-rounder.

 

Yeah man, he looks happy.

 

I think next is one of the freakshow fights...a dude from either MMA, kickboxing, bare-knuckle, or prison-fighting or just a bodybuilder, IDK. Big bald mean-mugging tattooed SOB. He looks like he's about 60 (facially) but built to smash. Definitely not a sanctioned professional boxing bout.

 

Whaaaaaaaaat? The drawn card is bad enough, but a shutout?! Petrovsky got schooled for four rounds straight.
