    Lol @ Dempsey & Marciano @ 1&2.

    That is just bloody ridiculous.

If we are going on sub 190lb then you could make a case.
Not a chance in hell when discussing proper Heavyweights.

You mean Hercules? You don't get that nickname without nothing. 1 punch 15th round. I can't think of another heavyweight that has done that.

Impossible to know really. But for the sake of fun and to upset the apple cart a little for all those having Marciano so high Curtis Sheppard hit harder apparently, so did Yvon Durrell.

Apparently you have to be 6'2 or over and 215-220+ lbs to be considered a hard hitter.

Having never been hit by a heavyweight, Thank the Good Lord, I wouldn't know myself so I'll rely on the guy with the hardest chin I know my old buddy Randall Tex Cobb. Tex said by far the hardest puncher was Earnie Shavers. Tex said "In their fight every punch Earnie threw shook him from head to toe. it was the one & only time I gave quitting a thought."
Tex came back to the corner George said " Don't worry Tex he's not hurting you " Tex answered with a classic " Well in that case you'd better watch that dang Referee then cos somebody is" Great guy Tex

The guy he literally named as his #1 was six feet tall and 210 and under during his biggest knockouts.

All massive hitters, what's wrong with them? Certainly a lot stronger than yours. Jeffries at #2, Marciano and Dempsey at #4, Fitz even mentionend?

    It's heavyweights not P4P.

All those guys fought at Heavyweight and were big punchers.
Jim Jeffries was 6'2--226lbs thats your definition of a heavyweight right? Apparently size automatically = punching power.
Bigger sure. I dunno about stronger.

For pure force, I have to go with George Foreman. That does not mean he had the best one punch knockout punch. A lot of times they saw George's punch coming and it still froze them in their tracks.
