Martin Bakole will prove that he is "capable of beating anyone in the heavyweight division" by stopping Tony Yoka, his trainer Billy Nelson said.

"I do genuinely believe Martin is capable of beating anyone in the heavyweight division.

Nelson said that a victory over Yoka would insert Bakole into the world title picture: "Let's be perfectly honest - it would supersede anything that Joe Joyce or Daniel Dubois has done.

"Martin would beat both of those quite comfortably.

"We would fight Filip Hrgovic in a heartbeat too. He is an easier fight than Yoka because he doesn't have the speed or skill that Martin has. Hrgovic is very strong but Martin would beat him.

 

Bakole would beat Joyce and Dubois quite comfortably, but he couldn't beat the legendary Kuzmin comfortably (who many had winning).

He would beat Hrgovic in a heartbeat.

 

Bakole isn't fighting Yoka anymore

Who knows, Billy Nelson claimed they didn't fancy it in the end.

To be fair prior to the Hunter loss majority of this forum posters were saying he was a better prospect than Joyce, Dubois and Hrgovic ( I wasn't amongst them).

I can’t knock Billy too much, he’s only doing what a trainer/manager should do in getting the word out about his fighter

that doesn’t explain why some posters here also think Bakole is the second coming of Sonny Liston

 

They don't but he is a hard fight for anyone in the division and very underestimated by most on here.

 

hes a bloody game fighter he comes forward throws punches in bunches he can take a punch to throw a punch he is big strong one thing he is though is hes plodding he is slow as **** on his feet Beale
