Oleskandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois - August 26 // Poland (TNT PPV)

Got to love a fresh British challenger having a crack at the World Heavyweight Title.

Big ask for DDD but I hope he throws his bombs and has no regrets when he leaves the ring.

Usyk is the better fighter by a mile but this is the Heavyweight Division and strange things happen when least expected.

A DDD win over Usyk would be a huge shock but will never shock me as much as what happened on 1 June 2019 in New York.

 

well nothing could be worse than what happened in 2019 cos the fella is a wee fat man I keep saying it but its true hes no even 6 foot really but hes 19 or 20 stone of fat what folk dont mention is he is 19 stone which looking at his appearance isnt even that heavy so it shows how little muscle he has he has low bone thickness and strength it was just all blubber it was embarassing to loose to that fighter hes still no beat anybody else he beat ortiz but he is to old and was going down to jab of charles martin it doesnt get any lower than that does it dubois is a tall big strong unit who is fast fit explosive you wouldnt want to be anywhere near him in a dark alley he would punch you up the walls like on those Atari games years ago where you got hit youd go flying in the air dubois could do that to usyk do the stuff joshua was not capable of doing he was not good enuff

This Dubious lad has a worse chance of winning than the current version of David Price would have. Seems a nice chap and all but an atrocious challenger. Leapia was seen as an awful mando but at least he got there by exposing another mando fella who was having a stay busy fight against the worst ranked man he could find. Dubious has gotten this shot because Warren's other fella totally exposed him and battered him and then Warren bought off a weak org to get him a shot after beating some donkey nobody ever heard of. and even then he struggled.

To win? Basically Dubious needs Usyk to get very old over night, which could happen but then also completely forget how to box.

 

To win, it is simple - DDD has to make a serious dent in Usyk within 2 rounds and throw the kitchen sink, taps, oven gloves the lot should he see any wobble.

 

I don't think DDD has that in his arsenal though. As far as i can see his greatest and only asset remains to be looking like a Goomba from the 90's live action Mario film.

Poor undercard considering UK fans are expected to pay £19.95. Berinchyk’s opponent is a step-down from Yvan Mendy who he fought last time out, and Hamzah Sheeraz is fighting a career super-welterweight who struggled against Asinia Byfield. To make it even worse, I’ve heard that Naseem Hamed’s son will be chief support.

Hopefully Dubois puts in a good effort to make up for this.

 

Mytrofanov is 5ft 8, so huge height advantage too. He was actually a good amateur in the WSB,and an Olympian. but he's looked crap as a pro. Remember him destroying Fred Evans just after Evans won an Olympic silver

I think you're right Jim, that's the way DDD slows the fight down enough to get in range for a shot. I just get the feeling he'll brick it and sit behind a guard long enough for Usyk to work him out. From there even the puncher's chance is done.

 

Do what Chisora done plus actually throw punches and many of them in bunches.
