Damn right. That's why he went from 160 to saying 168 3ver since he seen how much shorter canelo was than Charlo.

P4P if everything was equal, Canelo would lose to Spence, Thurman, Crawford, Shakur, and Ennis.

there is nothing for crawford him at 154 or 160. The rematch maybe, I doubt al allows a rematch to get in the way of the biggest money fight. Like it or not, if canelo handles business were getting canelo vs crawford.
Id like to see him whoop tank and boots and go get tzyu but its not happening. Daddy AL in charge.

Crawford also KO'd Porter, though. Here's a thought... why does Canelo keep finding himself "evenly matched" so often?

Trout, Lara, Jacobs, Plant, Bivol, etc. Did Bub really look any more human against Shawn than Canelo looked in these fights?

Maybe Canelo just isn't on some other plane and is just another great contemporary fighter? Maybe not quite as great as you think he is?

He's gotta do it though, that's the difference. For him to say 160 at first, just shows he was thinking the weight jump would be too much. Then he saw that Charlo was like 3-4 inches taller, then came out saying 168. Canelo isn't a big super middleweight but he's a legit 168 pounder now, the punches feel way different up there compared to what Crawford is used to at 147. That has to be a concern for Crawford and his team.

You're right- Crawford operates on a higher level than Canelo...

We will see how much the weight difference makes..
I'm guessing it makes a difference.
