I gave your man all the options told him to pick the location in his hometown for a sparring session. Only one person backed out and it wasn’t me but you already knew that. What is hot pot?
There's a few interesting scraps hat could be made in those divisions and a chance or Bud to pick of straps in both of them. Mendoza has a strap, and would be an easy match to make and I doubt a match Tszyu is off the table. As far as 160, it's pretty dreadful at the moment and I doubt GGG will fight again and if he does, it's probably be a showcase match in Kazakhstan before he retires. But Adames is an in house fighter and has a strap that's two he can pick up. Hell Bud if he was serious about building his legacy, why not clip off Mendoza and Adames in 6 months time, pick up two belts and then try his luck with Canelo? As far as the Ennis and Tank matches, you're right I can't see Al allowing those to happen.
Yeah well, Canelo was struggling against Kovalev and then KO'd him as well. That win, even as compromised as Sergey was is still better than the win against Porter. It was against a P4P fighter with his foot out of the door in a division he'd never fought in, as opposed to Mr. Consistently 2nd and 3rd with his foot out of the door. By every possible metric Canelo's resume violently shits all over Crawford's, there's literally no comparing the two. As far as your point goes, I don't even think you with a straight face believe in any of that. No, struggling with Porter is not the same and struggling with Floyd, Golovkin, Lara, Bivol and you know it. He didn't struggle with Plant, the Jacobs match was close but no robbery. Also, Danny is yet another fighter that is better than every fighter Bud has ever faced. Canelo has been at world level for a decade, since he was literally was a child, when that happens people have a lot of opponents that's going to give them issues, especially slick fighters like Floyd, Trout and Lara. Crawford is finally stepping up the world level in his mid 30's. He's had his way against a badly compromised fighter, and struggled with a guy on the verge of retirement in his two matches at that level. Let's see how he performs in his next 10-12 matches at world level (he'll retire long before that), most of which are in divisions he's never fought in before. Then we can properly compare the two, and accurately assess. But somehow I doubt that all of those matches would be walks in the park for him especially at 154, 160 and 168. Sure, based on the eye test, Bud is the goods. But we can't officially proclaim that he's on some other plane of existence because he beat up a drained brain damaged accident victim who could barely keep his eyes open walking to the ring. Speaking of Kovalev, again.... even the compromised version that Canelo fought was better every possible level than Spence as well.
Of course they picked the loser in Spence to back and they're salty about it. But still..... it doesn't change the fact that Crawford is not on the same level as Canelo.
Everything that i know about crawford i garuntee if canelo wins thats the fight for him. If boots wants to move up and try to collect a belt tzyu and charlo, i could see him coming back down to unify for 4 but even then i dont know. I think its canelo 100% next and ive been saying that for awhile. I thought hed fight charlo next at 154 but charlo is cashing out vs canelo. so that is out. If tzyu had all the belts right now i could see him fighting tzyu then canelo. But the way things worked out its straight to canelo. If im wrong, i dont know crawford.
he isnt on the same level as canelo, we def agree on that. The fight is next and your gonna see that. Great vs Good. Diff levels in class for sure
The jump in weight will be way too much for him, Canelo will devastate him with body shots and he'll fold in 5 or less.
Crawford better. But Canelo better promoted boxer due to hearns investing quarter of a billion in the kid to beat on UK boxers mostly. Bud had that same kind of promotional he would probably do well and ummm. Without peds and do it better than Canelo. Become the face of boxing by now.
If you favor Canelo's resume, that's fine. But to pretend that he is on some different level skillwise is a joke, bro. Canelo has struggled at every stage of his career at the elite level. He's never been dominant at any point; his record is heavily padded by his first 40 fights. He didn't "struggle" with 36 year-old Mayweather, he lost 10-2. This was right after edging Trout. Then he barely beat Lara. He should have at least one loss to GGG if we're being real. The world killer myth started with the James Kirkland fight, but he has never really lived up to that. He's been severely tested in just about every big fight he's had and not proven to be at a vastly different level than his foes. If Crawford and Canelo were the same size, Crawford would whup his ass. The only reason Canelo would be favored is the weight.
