Instead of fighting Bowe, Holyfield defense his title against Bruno. Does Bruno KO Holyfield? Does Holyfield see how big Bruno is and tosses his gloves away and runs out the arena screaming and crying? Does Holyfield stop Bruno? What happens?

Not an easy fight for Evander but he is the favorite.

Holyfield didn't stop a lot of guys at HW but I could see Bruno's corner stopping it. Holy faster hands faster feet better boxer.

Bruno could fight inside but not like Bowe could. Bowe, Qawi arguably and much later Toney did what Tyson and I suspect Bruno would fail to do, which is beat Holyfield to the punch on the inside.

Bruno liked to hold one of his opponents arm to set up a big hook or to hit his opponent with a hard jab right after the clinch gets broken up. Tyson couldn't control Holy in the clinch in 96 I don't think Bruno would be able to in 92.

Honestly holy would just headbutt him too

So you're saying that Holyfield doesn't run out of the arena screaming and crying???

Gotta favor Evander to get the win but I agree with those who say that this could be a competitive and crowd entertaining fight. Shame we never saw it come to think of it. Two chiseled warriors who were close in age and had a ton of heart.

Bruno would give a good account of himself for awhile with his heavy jab, but eventually Holyfield would get to Bruno and hurt him. Bruno was bad at surviving when he was hurt. He would get hurt yet stay on his feet, even when he was better off taking a knee.

Holyfield didn’t hit as hard as the guys who stopped Bruno, but he definitely had the ability to get Bruno in trouble. Bruno probably gets stopped on his feet in the mid rounds.

I think Bruno would be right in it until about the halfway mark when he slowed down and his big body builder muscles started his inevitable gassing. Holyfield always had good stamina and he was a better overall boxer than Frank; the second half of the fight would be his.

This would somehow be similar to Usyk vs. Joshua.
