After Joshua’s recent performance against Helenius do people believe that Hearn puts Joshua in with Wilder next ? My own opinion is that despite what Hearn says he will look to get at least one more fight in for Joshua before making the Wilder fight .

No point in either fighting anyone else. A loss for both is retirement so just fight each other for a big pay day, loser can walk away happy and richer

January is still too far away and Joshua's team will say that Joshua needs a warm-up fight and when he does that fight then they will say that the date of the fight with Wilder should be pushed to the summer because Joshua didn't have enough time to prepare.

That is quite possible what Hearn would do to delay the fight .

I doubt it. Eddie knows AJ is exposed, AJ knows it himself, so they know which fighters have a big or almost sure chance of beating him, so they will do everything possible, as they already do to avoid these fights.

Wilder is out of the ring for almost one year so far, so if they arrange some December-January fight, this will make it even longer. Theoretically, AJ has some advantages, yet he and Eddie are still talking about "rebuilding" or "warm-up" fights of someone who pretended to be a legend until yesterday.

True, Wilder has been out of the ring for almost a year and Joshua is still a scared insecure talker with a long tongue who prays to God that the fight doesn't happen.

It’s at a point now I think we’re Wilder needs to take a fight himself as he has been inactive too long,if Joshua takes at least another fight as people expect then Wilder definitely needs to get a fight in also rather than waiting till December/January time .

Seems like Wilder will rely on his old manufactured glory and will take one top fight at most before retiring. AJ is not entirely the same, but very similar and going in the same direction.

It's the fight that makes the most sense.

Both guys have only lost to the very best in the division even though both are clearly very damaged goods. So the name value is still there and the winner is by far the number 3 in the division and in line for another title shot.

It makes sense. Every fight they have against someone else is a chance for them to lose everything.

Neither are going to be king of the division again, so now it is just business, unless either is fighting for the title there is is going to be no bigger purse, so get the Wilder vs Joshua fight made, get the contract signed, and get em in the squared circle.

One will leave the sport with the kudos of a win over the other, but both will be a damned sight richer financially.

At this point, what are they even protecting Joshua for? A few more mediocre pay days at the O2 before he inevitably loses again.

Might as well be rolling the dice and making the Wilder/Fury fights at this point

Wilders being saying Joshua was an easy fight after the Usyk fights. Joshua will fight anyone. So hopefully this happens.

If AJ doesn't fight Wilder, Fury, Usyk or Ruiz next he may as well not fight at all. He is a seasoned world champion, just come off a tune up and has no need to fight anyone else.

I know Usyk has comprehensively beat him twice but if he was offered a third fight, he should take it.
