Franck Petitjean vs Harlem Eubank - November 10 // Brighton

This hasn't been officially announced yet. Will be a Friday night Wasserman show in Brighton apparently. For the European Super-Lightweight Title. The winner is expected to face Dalton Smith in Sheffield next year. Petitjean is 35 year-old southpaw and the current European Champion at 140.

Although Petitjean is 6 years older than Eubank, I do think Petitjean wins. However, I hope Eubank does well as I would prefer to see Dalton Smith face Harlem Eubank.

 

Could be Azim or Smith against the winner. I guess it depends on the money being offered. I doubt Azim and Dalton Smith fight unless Smith takes a loss. Too risky for Smith to take unless there’s a world title on the line.

I personally would prefer Azim to fight for the European Title and Smith to instead look at world level fighters since he’s vacating the British title. Matchroom are stacked with fighters at 140.

 

I think Eubank and his team know he loses to both Azim and Smith so will choose the fight they will get paid most for which is most likely against Azim. I don’t think Eubank beats Petitjean to be honest.

Smith has won the British Title outright so I can’t imagine him holding onto it. I’d like to see Azim vs Smith too but I doubt it happens unfortunately due to the promoters. Same with Buatsi and Yarde.

Sad thing is that Eubank probably loses to Petitjean.

It’s been confirmed just not announced yet. Calm down.

 

I saw him against Samuel Molina last time out as it was also in Kirk's League. I have seen quite a bit of Harlem Eubank and from what I've seen of him in the ring I don't think he has a great chance. I hope I am wrong though.

 

Azim will win, Petitjean is very slow and will be bamboozled by the speed. Not sure why Boxxer are rushing Azim into another fight though. November is only 2 months away and Azim just went 10 rounds in a competitive fight. Seems like Boxxer need headliners which Azim is. I wonder how Dalton Smith is feeling as he said he wanted to fight for the European Title next. I presume they will look to move to world level, Matchroom have a lot of top fighters at 140.
