Could be a career defining win vs Tszyu. Let's be honest, he got a massive head butt which I think contributed to him copping that massive right hand and he took it well. Buckled him slightly, that's how strong his body help up. No question he was rocked as a result and fortunate the round went. But that's boxing. Completely and utterly destroyed him after that. You need to overcome that adversity to be a good fighter ( to be good at anything, life especially ) don't forget Timmy got dropped early on in his career by a guy many never heard about and career has fizzled out. On the Brubaker side of it he saw the head lines and was never the same after the bell went where he had that great round. Looked for that straight right hand all the time. No jab, no combo's, no body shots, no head movement, no gas! He ran out of steam and got poleaxed.

Liam Wilson fight that Argentinian will win the runner of the year award. Dickhead of a bloke with no game plan but to run away. Wasted his time coming over here the head less chicken.

The heavyweight fight was a cracker and the judge that gave it the other way should hand in his ****ing license. Despicable human being.

Good on ya Luke Jackson and spoken like a true champion. Stay retired mate walk away on a good note.

Epic first fight and I feel for Mazoudier. Bad blood between them but I did fancy Hussein pre-fight. Just that confidence at the press conference weeks ago straight away when he offered to bet his fight purse. Oozed supreme confidence and that height factor played a good role imo where he used it to his advantage. I believed the last round would decide the outcome and it did. Boxing is a brutal business inside and outside of the ring.

Ring girls were hot as **** but by the end of the night where I was tiring I could see how corny it was with the constant looking at each other and giggling. A bit is good, too much, no. That being said that's what they're there to do and they do it well. God Bless em!

    LOL!!!!!

The dog went from tipping Brubaker two weeks ago, to backing Nikita when Timmy was on the panel to changing his mind again when Timmy was gone and said '' I'm calling it, I'm predicting Brubaker to upset him ''

After Paul Kent performed a rear guillotine on the ex-mrs they needed another clueless rugby league journalist to parachute in.

There are some good domestic fights for him at 154 I think that Wade Ryan would be a good test and a hell of a fight.

Agree from the test perspective but Wade Ryan is one tough son of a b--tch and best avoided. Reckon Tim might advise Nikita to give Ryan a wide birth.

Good win by Nikita after overcoming some adversity. Second time he's been hurt in a fight. Both times against blokes he would have been comfortable against going in. All the others he has fought have been unbeaten which has brought with it an element of the unknown. Ben Horn & Jack Brubaker were known quantities & not expected to trouble him. Trouble is what they brought though.

The training wheels stay on Nikita for the time being. I think we can chart his course from here to the end of next year. I see him taking an Australian title fight to end the year against undefeated Dylan Biggs. The only catch there is that it would have to be over 10 rounds. Next year he could defend that title four times against the two boys who fought on the undercard last night, Ben Hussain & Koen Mazoudier plus the likes of Wade Ryan & Ben Mahoney. Beat them & it's onto international opponents in 2025 after Tim has moved up in weight.

Good night of boxing overall. Really enjoyed it. The Heavyweight stoush was top class. That Kiwi, Kiki Toa Leutele, is a very tough man & a credit to New Zealand boxing. People were complaining about having to pay for the PPV but if that Kiwi is on the show, you know you're getting your money's worth. The other fellow, Toese Vousiutu, is a terrific talent also. There's not many men in this country who could take what he dishes out. That's why they had to bring in the Kiwi to face him. Job done for the Kiwi & a win on The Boxing Scoreboard for New Zealand that will be reflected in due course.

Luke Jackson, at 38 years old, looked better than I've ever seen him, Liam Wilson got back on the winner's list over 10 while the opener between Ben Hussain & Koen Mazoudier was close & competitive all the way. Both boys should be in line for a payday against Nikita next year. The round-card girls looked fine & the Sandman_ stayed awake until the end. Good night of Australian boxing.
