I wouldn't exactly be amazed if he fights for a British title in 3/4 years. No prediction, just not surprised

He's useless, I don't think it would be a good idea stepping him up tbh.

He doesn't have it. English title at best for me. The fight against that Spanish dude is one of the worst decisions ever. There is absolutely no case to make for him winning

Pretty much this sums him up, absolutely nothing against him personally but he doesn't appear to have his dad's gift.
On another note it seems like Matthews son Jack is winning his fights albeit at schoolboy level, maybe he'll be the next big thing in the Hatton family.

The Matchroom way will be followed to maximise loot.

All zero threat opponents will be sold by Hearn as 'huge threats' '50/50 fights' 'big step up' etc as seen in the careers of Anthony Joshua and Connor Benn.

Anytime any of these fighters or similar go near live opponents, they fall from a great height that they never reached in the first place.

Mr Hearn is the type of guy that takes a photo at the top of a very steep hill, giving the misleading impression he has climbed up on foot the hard way, when he really takes the softest option of jumping on the funicular railway.

Incredibly Hearn has already scheduled Connor Benn on Box Office and Campbell Hatton will be as well should he ever fight for the Hyde Area Title.

that Spanish lad had a pulse and boxed his lugs off and he still got hand raised so maybe they might want to pad out the record a bit more before loses

I think it’s clear as day he is improving. I do get the frustration to a degree that his surname gets him on the main cards of shows when he is fighting cans. But he is young with little amateur experience. He needs regular fights and unlike he dad actually lives the life. Time will tell where he ceiling is, but I don’t have a massive issue with him.

Dig up the wbu for him
    His dads favourite belt
I'm mean if wicky can sell it as a world title
    Why cant his son
Eddie could say hes on the same path Frank had wicky on
    Where following that same path
    No British nor commonwealth
Straight for that rejuvenated wbu and tell them it's not about money until it is about money
    Job done

Ricky won the British title. Shocking knowledge.

He's learning on the job having turned pro early... it's no secret he would have stayed amateur for longer had covid not occurred, seen as they couldn't get any fights so decided to then turn him pro to keep pushing forward with his development.

There's absolutely zero rush with the young lad - I can clearly see the improvements he's made since his debut. Still a long long way to go yes... but he's clearly grafting in the gym.

I'd hope he's improving. He gets to train fulltime, will be getting paid well for it, has had 13 pro fights, doesn't have to have another job on the side to pay bills, and has been a pro for almost 3 years and would have been surrounded by top quality coaching and everything that comes with it.

I suppose he couldn't get any worse so improvements are bound to get made and he does seem like a decent enough guy, but if he gets to English title level without being caught abusing drugs like others, then he can consider that a success imo.

Hard to work with someone with so little natural power. You'd think anyone British level would walk straight through him.

Must be tempting to get him on some of Benn's omelette meals.

I can be done at around 10 stone. Malignaggi has zero pop and got by on decent only boxing skills.
