Why did Teddy Atlas push George Foreman?

Although less often when their politics differ or they have no rejoinder.

Racking the brain but from memory it was “Go get me a sandwich and sit down” Old George was such a guy. Really enjoy watching his career over - He always felt like a boss fight in from a video game whenever he was in the ring.

 

It was a punk bush league thing to do, Thank Goodness George is a good God fearing man , Teddy might have become a novice Astronaut.
Teddy knows better than to get physical with anyone!- he pulled a gun when Tyson pinched his young niece on her ass. Atlas held it to Tyson's head, and afterwards Cus had Teddy packing not Mike. justice? no $$$$ Money.

 

He thoughtfully put it "I got into boxing commentary because I didn't want a job, but after some time it has become a full job."

 

Man, teddy and his Jedi mind tricks... for all the foolishment... someone once told me he had a speech impediment that he could only answer questions with deep meaning metaphors and not allowed to say yes or no, only deep thought allowed lol.

1) when he talked to Moorer he noticed Moorer kept looking down or away from teddy. So teddy would tell stories that would involve Moorer in them but he never actually told Michael he was talking about him. He said Michaels eyes lifted up whenever I told the stories with his likeness,!

2) Moorer wàs trying to get a nap in come fight day vs Evander Holyfield. Teddy immediately turned on the lights and shouted "you were under the hot lights every day in this training camp! Pleasr do not bask in the dark, do not go in the dark before this fight! Stay in the fight!!!"

3) teddy took credit for when people asked him what had he done with Michael? As Michael was a perfect fighter, exemplary so they asked teddy "where's the alien that kidnapped Michael and brought him this perfect specimen instead??!"

4) some mornings he would make Michael show up super early. As teddy came in late he said he was just testing Michael to see if he was loyal.

5) on the movie set with Willem Dafoe (great actor) he smelled cigarette smoke on his breath. Teddy list his cool and spazzed on Willem, that was the last time Dafoe smoked lol.

6) he told Briggs he left his head on one side, fortunately teddy said Briggs your opponent thankfully left his head on that side too. Shannon said "tee hee, (as he laughed) I love this guy" after the post fight critique.

7) everybody with a big payday coming could never get rid of teddy as trainer this the reason he brought a gun to Donny Lalonde s house.

I love teddy to death that's why I'm roasting him. I think he's a gem to boxing and one of a kind!!! Him and Stephen a Smith discussions are very passionate, for real I mean that!!! C'mon you gotta see the entertainment in that lol!

Well in Tyson's case, supposedly after he had tried to **** Taddy's niece....

 

Briggs and Teddy got along well ? How did their partnership end ? They ended in good terms ?

 

Im pretty sure in the book Shannon was called a name by some onlookers, teddy jumped in and helped out along side Shannon Briggs and their crew. So yes he was loyal to Shannon.

 

Seems to be a bit of a marmite character Atlas. Must admit I quite like him.

I really enjoyed his book.
