He can still win it but if he doesn’t knock this guy out, who Joyce did, would it be considered a fail by Usyk’s standards? Would it harm him in another round of negotiations with Fury?

Usyk is favoured to stop Dubois but if he schools him I don't think it matters much. His primary gameplan is always to go 12 rounds and to not take unnecessary chances. And stopping Dubois wouldn't help Usyk get the Fury fight if Fury is reluctant anyway.

Odds are very good that he won’t KO him since he’s not a power puncher, he’s a boxer.

Other way around. Fury will not fight him if he is too impressive, so Usyk may take his foot off the gas.

Dubois was badly hurt by Lorena. Usyk could take him out in any round he chooses.

I would not be disappointed. Usyk has yet to score his first knockout as a heavyweight. I would rather say that Usyk would blow me away if he knocks out Dubois.
P.S. Usyk doesn't need knockouts to win.

No, because Usyk is not a fighter who has too many knockouts, I doubt that he will exchange with Dubois...

Usyk haven’t KO’d anyone at heavyweight (I don’t count Whiterspoon) so what makes you think that he will KO Dubois?

Btw JJ didn’t KO Dubois, he broke his face so he gave up.

Lets be honest here, Dubois went down due to an ankle Injury. He does have a decent chin (Joe Joyce fight)

It will take a few amount of square punches to the chin from Usyk to knock out Dubois IMO. But, Usyk Is more than capable of that. I guarantee Usyk will take his foot off the gas to come across as 'not great' In the eyes of Tyson Fury to fish him In for the Undisputed fight potentially In 2024.

i dunno...for me it's hard to gauge.... dubois looked competitive to me fighting joyce until his broken face overcame him between rounds. will usyk break the already broken face of dubois? usyk is an artist. a virtuouso. not an impervious and brutal, forward moving monolith with arms. will he toss that out and try to run dubois over **** on ****? bet he could. will he? if he doesn't is that a disappointment?

if usyk beats dubois in the fashion of floyd beating jmm or canelo without receiving even a wiff of a punch while landing various and sundry shots more or less at will over the entirety of the fight? is that a disappointment?

i wouldn't rule out a combination of both circumstances which has dubois suffering a mayweather/gatti type whuppin. that would not disappoint while simultaneously being hard to watch again.

He doesn't have many KO's, even at CW, so of course it won't surprise if he doesn't KO a big, strong guy like Dubois. If he drains him of stamina and ends it late it won't be aschocker, but a decision win is probably the most likely result.
