I’m surprised by this. This means he must have been juicing for the journeymen he fought the week before, which makes no sense.
Shout-out to Matchroom for having VADA testing in place. There’s a reason why other promoters don’t use VADA testing and PBC fighters only fight once per year! Again gives Joshua another bout of confidence knowing he produced a KO of the year against an opponent juiced to the gills. It was one of the best one-punch knockouts I have ever seen in my lifetime. I don’t know why there aren’t any official guidelines for sanctions that can be imposed when a fighter fails a drug test depending on the circumstances. If Helenius only took a UKAD test, he wouldn’t have been caught. Again this shows that VADA and even Drug Free Sport are much more extensive than UKAD. Another reason why Queensberry and Boxxer need to be investing in additional testing. Matchroom are at the forefront of providing additional testing globally in this sport. Like I said there’s a reason why the PBC fighters - Helenius is a PBC fighter, only fight once per year.
Not only is he a glass jawed bum but a ped cheat too, time to retire. One thing though, how many people got caught dirty before or after fighting Joshua, lol (it goes all the way back to Miller) but somehow Mr. HGH gut and the most muscled guy in HW boxing (AJ) never pops dirty.
The drug Helenius got popped for is the drug of choice for Olympic divers. It improves technique and the ability to land immensely.
That's what I thought too, just thought it was down to him having basically a slightly prolonged camp as he went from one fight right into the Joshua fight but I guess we now know why he looked a bit more chiselled and less soft looking as per usual. Similar thing happened with Wach, suddenly looked leaner and stronger then got popped for PED's vs Wlad. Same with Vargas when he popped dirty vs Oscar. There was a sudden noticeable physical change in these examples.
