Once against Joyce, and then against Usyk. Dubois did very well today and should be proud of his performance, but it wasn’t enough. If Joshua did that, the British Forum would be in uproar with posts criticising him. Hopefully Dubois gets some big fights with some of the Top Rank heavyweights now. His stock has gone up. And for those children saying it wasn’t a low-blow, it clearly was. It was below the belt - it doesn’t have to hit the balls!
Dubois has all the attributes apart from heart. He'll never be a champion because when he suffers any adversity, he folds.
Would obviously be higher expectations of Joshua though as dubois has fought much less at world level. It was on the belt and should and will be a rematch
posters will write essays calling Joshua heartless but will ignore that Dubois has kneeled about 6 times in 3 fights and quit in 2 of them
i have come to realise you really are Matchroom fc. If you create the subject and it's about marchroom its positive and if its non matchroom somewhere will be something negative.
He also took knees against Kevin Lerena Taking knees when it gets tough is part of Daniels regular routine. And he's only at the start of his career, we could well be looking at the most mentally weak quitter ever in boxing history
Yeah hate to say it but DDD was tired, outclassed and swallowed it. The low blow incident is distracting massively from another tap out when it got tough.
People pay their hard earned money to see a guy take a knee and quit? In said fighters back pocket (a mill or so)…
Dubois looks like he's got all the attributes but soon as thing gets tough he wants out. Last night to me it looked like after the 5th and then everytime he went to the body or got close the ref stepped in. He's thought to himself there's nothing I can do to win here because I'm fighting uysk and the ref and he's then quit.
This. I like Dubois. He's exciting to watch and seems a nice lad, but there have been to many worrying red flags in his career to date.
