Putting the low blow descision to the side even though I believe it was a legitimate low blow….

    Pre fight Dubois stated:

“I will do everything and anything, by any means necessary to get the win.”

“I will rip those belts or Usyk”

“I gotta face Usyk full on like a mad dog”

“people giving me a punchers chance but im more than that ive got good boxing and im not just looking for a lucky punch”

so the fight happens and Dubois didn’t do ANY of that. In fact he did the complete opposite, crying and relying on a single controversial shot that he feels robbed him.. so then a lucky shot?? Why not land something else? You going to base your loss on that one punch?

He showed no “mad dog” attitude, no urgency or hunger to win. He did not implement any “rough up” tactics and yet Chisora who is older and slower and less athletic used ALL the mad dog tactics in the book and was way more effective WITH NO BELTS ON THE LINE!!! Imagine that!

Dubois should have been WAY more hungry and motivated in there, more than Chisora was.

Anyways, after the controversial blow, when Usyk got up he was still visibly shaken and hurt. Dubois also had 5 minutes rest, was not hurt and was FRESH AS A DAISY. And still could not capitalise on hurt Usyk.

where was Dubois after that? No where to be seen… Usyk did what Dubois Should have done… in being more aggressive and trying to shut the show down early… OH THE IRONY!! He went right after Dubois head hunting, toe to toe with the bigger man, bigger puncher and didn’t
    Take a step back.

Dubois got TKOd by a Jab!!!! He could have got up but decided to take the full count, why? Because he quit!!! You need to show the referee you are able to continue. BY ALL MEANS TAKE A KNEE! That’s smart…
Dont take the full count at this level.

its a damn championship fight!!! No urgency or hunger or “mad dog” attitude from Dubois. He didn’t even protest when it got waved off!!!! He looked fine!!! Just went back to his corner like a child!!! No anger… no “i want to coninue!!!” Just took it like a little boy.

Whereas Usyk fought with maximum hunger maximum bad intentions, he fought like a true hungry contender not even a champion defending his belts. Beat dubois at his OWN GAME!!! Going Toe to toe aggressive.

Dubois does not have the mental strength to compete at this level. Its damn championship fight, you dont CRY or LOSE FOCUS till its over. You give it EVERYTHING in the ring, EVERYTHING like Chisora did when it wasn’t even a championship fight.

Hrgovic should never have beat Zhang, and in his last performance looked in poor form.

Other than the low blow/body shot controversy, I didn't think he did too bad...

I thought Dubois showed decent head movement, good ring positioning, decent speed, good chin even though he went down off a jab. He probably only won 2 - 3 rounds, the rounds that he lost it wasn't extremely lopsided, Dubois always looked dangerous.

He was exhausted and mentally beaten at the time of the stoppage, there was no hope in is mind, no chance of victory in his mind.

I expected worse from Dubois. He didn't do that bad, honestly.

You mean Zhang that literally turned his back to Hrgovic and started runing away from him in 12th? His last performance was a wrestling match against Towering 120kg undefeated southpaw, still won. Anyways we will see, he is next mandatory.

He dudbt deserve a title shot to begin with. Zhang is the one that deserves a shot.
Dubois lacks heart unfortunately and he also isnt very skilled. Outside of the low blow contriversy it was an easy win for Usyk.

He fought 2 southpaws back 2 back, has reach, height, weight, amateur pedigree and better opposition than Joshua, Wilder and Fury in past 2 years. Anyways we will see, match is around the corner.

How many times did you watch the fight? Because he barely did anything except land the odd punch here and there whereas Usyk was snapping Dubois head back from every angle throughout the fight. Dubois was very tentative and hesitant to exchange or throw combinations, but Usyk met him head to head, toe to toe.

His performance was awful imo way below what Chisora achieved. Look at usyks body and face post Chisora, yesterday Usyk looked clean and fresh after the fight. Even AJ marked up Usyks face badly…

    says a lot!

Fine by me either way to be honest. I just want Usyk vs Fury. If Fury continues to duck then I dint care if its Zhang, Hrgovic, Joyce, Wilder or if he decides to retire.
