lol No Dubois absolutely should not be a world champion. He was completely outclassed and stopped.

Bud you are someone who has decent boxing knowledge, so what on earth are you talking about? How is this any different than Kovalev v Ward 2 or to a lesser extent Crawford v Khan? It’s not, no where near as bad.

He lost every round and then towards the end of the fight gave up against someone he called is ‘just a Cruiserweight’.

Technically it was below the belt line so a low blow, but it weren't so low that he was hit in the knackers. Doesnt like in the old bread basket

It doesn't have to hit the ***** for it to be a low-blow. The referee would have said before the fight to both fighters in the changing rooms where the belt-line is too. Seems like the consensus is that it was borderline, so it was the referee's call. Hence, it wasn't a robbery and there should be no rematch.

Let's see Dubois against Ajagba after the latter's win yesterday. There are some fun fights for Dubois but he hasn't been matched well so far in his career.
He wanted Dubois to win which is fair, but then he is also coming up with BS like how Dubois did better than Joshua and Bellew, which he clearly didn't. We must give Dubois credit though as he hasn't fought at a high level apart from Joyce, and went in the lion's den with little experience.

I wonder how long it will take the IBF to order Hrgovic as mandatory. From the sounds of it, Usyk wants a couple of months off before a training camp to spend time with family. If Usyk gets stripped, Hrgovic and Wilder will be ordered to fight for the title. After Wilder in the rankings, Joshua and Sanchez follow.

It was absolutely a low blow by the rules of the sport and the ref was right to call it as such. Not sure why he didn't deduct a point though.

And no it wasn't a bollocks shot but that's irrelevant frankly. Usyk also undoubtedly milked it and took plenty of time to recover which any sane fighter would do. I think it's impossible to say whether he'd have beat the count or not if it wasn't called, there's simply too many variables to know for certain.

The real big disappointment is Dubois quitting for the second time and showing that despite his age he lacks the heart and mentality to compete at the very top.

Was surprised to read so much praise for him on here this morning tbh.

I have been terribly busy with work but have now seen most of yesterday's broadcast from TNT Sports Box Office and quite as expected Daniel Dubois lost but he can be proud of his own effort. He did far better than I expected beforehand.

Dubois is young and has a bright future ahead of him. It seems that Dubois has found the right coach - a coach who will get the best out of him.

I have doubted Daniel Dubois a lot in the past, but I actually think he boxed his best fight of his career so far last night.

how? there was the low blow, a few good bodyshots…but other than that he was following Usyk around, either freezing up or throwing one shot at a time, then when Usyk went up a gear, he showed that he had absolutely no dog in him. maybe won one round tops.

i don’t get why he’s held to such a low standard when he was hyped from day one.

Usyk very lucky Terry O'Connor was not in there last night as he would have reached the count of 1 and waved it off.

@Bob Flaps the viewing experience last night was excellent at the mate's house and very impressed with the 4k streaming.

Had a good look around the contents after fight and purchase made.

All this stuff about Dubois having a bright future is nonsense. He's a quitter, that's something you can't train out of somebody. He's a physical specimen that has been groomed from an early age to be a boxer but no matter how good he becomes technically, he'll always fold under any adversity.

He's a nice lad but no fighter especially at the highest level when you've got to have the desire to win at all costs. He doesn't have that but most people don't. That's what separates the champions from everyone else.
