Have Hrgovic's chances increased now compared to before?

I give him a 20% chance to beat Usyk, anything is possible.

I'm not even sure Hrgovic would beat Dubois.

He'd batter Dubois and stop him inside 6 rounds. He loses to Usyk probably via a wide decision, he simply doesn't have the foot work or the ability to fight inside effectively so would stand off to use his height which is his preferred style, much like Joshua did and get badly out boxed.

This trend of guys getting title shots with 20 or less fights really needs to end. DuBois had issues people saw, Hrgovic has not looked good in 2 fights, AJ had issues. Not every fighter is Floyd Mayweather and Usyk was an amatuer longer than most guys.

We will see, Hrgovic is hungry and he know this is his only chance at the belt, if he loses that is it for him. He has nothing, Usyk has everything.

AJ had less than 20 fights, so did Usyk, what are you trying to say?

Simple, guys should have more fights under them to develop before getting title fights. I think somewhere around 25-30 fights. I mentioned AJ and Usyk. Usyk has only had 21 fights because he turned pro late.

No, he doesn't seem to have changed anything after his fight with Zhang. It is his very last chance now, but I doubt he will do the necessary to beat Usyk.

Not even slightly, if anything they've decreased. Dubois is heavier handed and faster, and seems to have a better gas tank. Yet the only success he had was a low blow. Hrgovic is a slow lumbering and inaccurate with a hole the size of Croatia in his gas tank, who struggles mightily with southpaws. Usyk violently embarrasses him and stops him late.

Nahh, you are wrong - that is how you get fake "scores", like the likes of Fury - 35 fights - 2 names Wilder and Klitchko, and 2 washed up contenders - Whyte and Chisora. That is 4 real fights - of 35. Dont get me started on wilder. Guy has 43 fights, out of that 2 names - Fury and Ortiz, the 40 of the rest that he fought, just like Fury are nobodies.

It is fake pump. Hrgovic has 16 fights, out of that he has 2 names, just like Fury and Wilder and he never wore belt.

Hrgovic is garbage. He tussled around that ring with a top 100 guy and barely made a dent.
    Usyk KO late

Hrgović had an extensive amateur career (about 10 years) when he fought in the Olympics (bronze medal) and a few seasons in WSB where he fought amateur elite, a lot of future high-ranked pros, and then turned pro 7 years ago - he was 24.

I agree that he should be more active and have more than 16 fights in 7 years, but it is not the point in quantity, the quality of opposition is the key. Wilder has 40 tomato cans on his record, that number means nothing. I don't wanna take anything from Wilder, but such quantity is used to get experience, it should mean nothing when it comes to championship fights. Quality of opposition (resume) should be the main indicator for ranking and getting championship fights.
