Lol yeah and loved how after the supposed controversy he pulled his guard down after the fight so when they complained it looked like he had his guard at the right height when in reality he had his even higher than Usyk's.

 

i'm surprised at the divide here. during an interview it was stated that low is considered below the navel. the shot usyk took was below the navel. the referee made a good call.

the fouls that get me upset are the ones when the back of the head is struck but the referee does not take points away from the offending party.

There is a interview with Dubois where he is claiming he is going to rough Usyk and do everything necessary, and he mention low blows, behind the head, elbows, etc, etc.

There are countless fights I've seen where the referee clearly touches the area where is deemed fair and the area that is deemed a foul. This was one example.
The photos you show https://i.ibb.co/tK3fvkZ/2.jpg https://i.ibb.co/BNhJ4bf/1.jpg confirm to me that the waistband of the shorts are below the navel and where the punch connected is well below the navel, add to that the size of dubois gloved fist - so the impact area is in the illegal zone. In my opinion and my interpretation.
Also because Usyks shorts are all white with a white waistband, its visually harder to see where the waistband ends and the shorts start.
Furthermore if you put on a groin protector and boxing shorts, see how far they come up, and punch yourself on that area, you should feel why it is called a foul.
A low blow is not just a shot to the balls, it includes the area up about 1 inch below your navel. Feel yourself on your own body and where does the abdomen muscles end and where would you consider a foul?

 

You see the waistband below the navel (I don't know how), but do you see a navel the moment before the shot? If so - then we better not continue. The point isn't denying that a low blow is right below the navel - the point is did this punch landed on the navel which isn't any foul. To me, it landed right there.
