All with losing records, two four rounders and a six rounder. It's rubbish. The two foreign lads he fought are in double figures for losses between them since facing Allen and you only need one finger to count their combined wins since. Bassett hasn't had a fight since, leaving him at 2-9. These are the kind of fights guys have when they're having 5 or 6 in the first year to 18 months of their career and still labouring on Barrett Homes sites, not fights you take after saying you'd beat Anthony Joshua and spend every other day sharing clips of Lucas Browne taking a dive and claiming you stopped an ex World Champion.

It's just tiresome, the whole Allen spin, Price showed the difference, that should have been it. How the f did the Darch fight never get properly investigated? That should have been it, Clarke better make sure it is this Saturday.

Let's cut Dave Allen some slack - this 'Relic' believe it or not is the same age at 'NXTGEN' Yafai (im not joking)

By that yardstick he is still in the early learning phase of his career, plenty of time to improve and push on!

2 things. Big Moe can’t count and women need to shut up about boxing. Mayer just said many people don’t think Eubank should have lost that fight. Making out it was a very contentious decision and Smith had to prove it right. Get to **** girl. Who’s she been speaking to even Eubank’s deluded dad said he was battered by a quality fighter.

People like to bang on about Eubanks great engine because he can reel off 9897 punch combos.... but forgetting that he is very cute, clever and coy in that often in rounds he will "go for a walk" where he's actually taking a break but disguised as showmanship.

The way Smith fights and specifically with his foot work, he's pushing a pace and even if he isn't throwing punches he's still making you work... so Eubank will be getting made to either think or work... meaning he won't get that sort of breather.

I said exactly this from his Boxnation days. He’d go for a walk with his mouth absolutely gaping open against journeymen from Eastern Europe. He was always a con.

I predicted Liam late last time for the exact reasons you’ve stated. I thought it would be a horrible, long, dangerous fight on the way to it though and was worried. This is one reason I didn’t want the rematch to happen because I think it’ll be that type of fight this time.

Eubank looked much better on the scales than last time.

Why does Eubank saying it was a Miracle rattle him so much?

Everyone said Smith had next to no chance last time. Even less chance for stopping him. After he went and did it it’s as if people are starting to believe the narrative that it was a fluke all of a sudden. Wouldn’t that wind you up a bit?

It’s all because of the surname of who he’s fighting. If Liam Smith had been fighting Chris Smith with the same achievements as Eubank there would have been no one way rematch clause and no interest in a rematch.
