Teddy Atlas would make an excellent trainer for Joshua

AJ could not withstand the mental onslaught that Atlas would give him. He is way too soft for a guy like Teddy.

Amazing how idiots who have achieved nothing call an Olympics Gold medalist and a 2 times unified heavyweight world champion with multiple successful title defences a hunk of crap lacking heart. If this is true most fighters would be crap and lack heart. Have you ever stepped into a boxing ring, gave you achieved anything in your life or have you earned $150 Million in your career? Being a rent boy does not pay that well. You may not respect AJ due to your ingrained innate prejudices but that actually says much more about you not him. Your thread explains why nobody respects you. You are a gormless, spineless, weak minded POS and I am putting you on my ignore list. You don’t have to like every fighter, that is not to be expected. Your suggested choice of Atlas is crap when there are much better trainer like Roberto Garcia who comes from a boxing family who has trained 14 world champions basically making most of them from the bottom up. AJ needs no motivation from a guy who as an adult pulled a gun on a 14 year old Mike Tyson. Atlas might be a good trainer for your mind which is warped to say the least. I don’t take too seriously things posted on ESB but if I come across you in person I would gladly slap the **** out of you as you need it to install some common sense in you.

Teddy Atlas is a hasbeen bordering on "Never Was."

Teddy Atlas has only one speech inbetween rounds for his fighters and after hearing it a few times it gets old real fast.

Teddy could make Joshua a fireman. Get him ready for Wilder's fire. The heat wouldn't bother him.

    ;)

I used to like Atlas but he has become a senile old fool the last couple of years. He shits on AJ non stop and acts like he is the only guy who can spot flaws in AJ's game.

Eddie Futch could have improved Joshua greatly. He was one of the masters.

Atlas would be terrible for Joshua. Atlas is a self promoter. He upstages his fighters and that sucks.
He would be awful for a guy with doubts.

    You made good points. But...

This is how many posters behave on sports forums. Many ragged on Lennox for getting KTFO twice. Some loons here had him behind Holly & Tyson for top 90s HWs. The K bros got excessive criticism for any and every setback from legions of key board "warriors" on BF24.
I defended Dubois when he was called a quitter by many after the Joyce loss. When it was revealed that DD broke his orbital bone, taking a knee to get counted out made sense. Dubois was playing the long game. His career would be over if he became even partially blind. And that would affect him for the rest of his life.
A similar scenario was Vitali's loss to Byrd. Vitali retired given a severe shoulder injury. He was playing the long game. VK did very well for himself after that loss by injury. But more than a few here called him a "quitter". Btw, the only way Byrd defeats VK is by a severe injury. Lil brother Wlad dominated Byrd 2X. Many have Vitali the equal of Wlad if not a bit better.

Lewis emphatically avenged both his losses, and had a great career as did both K bros. But that didn't stop many from making lame, idiotic remarks against them for many years. The trolling against these 3 greats has lessened in recent years.

PS on DD. In the Usyk fight it looks like he quit.

I would like to see some of this brave keyboard warriors in the same position and see how they react. It’s easy to call someone a quitter behind their keyboards. I know for a fact it takes real guts to step into the arena for combat.
