    Round 3: 10-9 Burns
Burns moving well, getting some decent shots in and getting back out of range. Limond with the odd flurry but slow.

    Round 4: 10-9 Burns
Limond looks like he's fading a bit and streaming blood from the nose, Burns is barely out of first gear yet although Limond got one cracking shot on him.

    Round 5: 10-9 Burns
Burns got a warning for a low blow (a real one!) but still cruising and Willie still badly bloodied - looks like a broken nose. Limond slowing and looking for one big shot.

    Round 6: 10-9 Burns
Limond slipping on his own blood at times, pretty gruesome for a 'friendly'. Limond must be struggling to breathe through that nose. Burns has more blood than sweat on him.

Limonds nose is just pouring blood. Might get stopped soon.

    Round 7: 10-9 Burns
Ref checks the belt lines as Burns sailed close to low blows a few times. Topical. Burns using a constant jab and staying patiently out of the road. Limond says he can't breathe and no wonder. Time for the corner to think about pulling him out.

    Round 8: 10-9 Burns
Ref had a look at Limond during the break but let it go on. Limond out a bit quicker, understandably, and does a bit better. Burns still not in any trouble, on his toes and finishes the stronger.

    80-73

Ref calls it off here though and no wonder - Limond was done from the time his nose got busted up. Decent effort for their age!

Decent from the ref, didn't really have much choice in the end. His own shirt looks like he's been stabbed.

Missed this, gutted. you’ve got to love Ricky Burns! Even when he was on the slide he still folded Scott Cardle who was like the light version of Chisora in terms of opportunities and lucky decisions.

Tham's interview after his win in the chief support should be required viewing. Probably needs subtitles for those outside Scotland though :)
