A week has gone by, Fury fights nobody in October 28, Usyk has no opponent, even if the unification fight is made, it wouldnt be before january or in my guess march 2024, which in theory lets Usyk rest on belt for the: 4 months in this year is a given potential 7 months + Fury rematch that is a year and half, if could be trillogy aswell who the **** will Hrgovic fight then: Winner Zhang Joyce? Zhang yes, Joyce would refuse as he did duck Hrgovic twice before AJ? Big H wasnt even considered as an opponent when Whyte quit Wilder and Ruiz are to expensive, aslo potential Wilder-AJ sudi fight Parker, Ortiz, Whyte, Sanchez dont bother Who is left - Jared Anderson, Arslanbek Makhmudov and Efe Ajagba (an maybe, just maybe coward Bakole or what I like to call him, Ducker Bakole).
This fight definitely falls apart, and that was to be expected, Hearn continues to play with Hrgovic and sabotages his potential fights by saying, "Usyk will want another opponent, not Hrgovic".
I wonder what they're gonna say after Usyk beats Hrgovic. Probably something like "why Usyk still hasn't fought Wilder yet??" or "Usyk is scared of Ruiz Jr" etc. The only fight that matters is Usyk vs Fury.
Wilder isnt mandatory for 2 years, like Hrgovic is. If Hrgovic loses, he loses. The fact the Champ is avoiding him and IBF does nothing is a disgrace. There is only 2-3 people Usyk has to beat, that is Hrgovic, and Winner of Zhang-Joyce, that is it. Even withouth Fury he can retire. Wilder is irelevant fighter until he beats AJ or Bakole or some top 10 heavyweight that isnt Ortiz.
So, Usyk is avoiding Hrgovic and instead he wants to fight Fury? It means Usyk thinks that Hrgovic is a better boxer than Fury... hmmm...
