Citing weight issues is a poor excuse. Eubank operated at SMW. It’s 100% a harder cut for Eubank than Smith. If Smith ballooned in weight after injury that’s just unprofessional.

I don’t like Conor McGregor much but watching his dedication towards staying in shape despite the various injuries he suffers in his Netflix documentary shows you what it’s all about.

Exactly why I didn’t want the rematch. Smith should have been on to bigger and better things and now is ****ed. If Eubank got the rematch. Smith should to. He wasn’t right at all. Fair play for not playing on the ankles too much. Is it weight cut, is it old overnight I’ve watched him since he turned over and they can be the only excuses for that performance. Never seen him anything like that. Eubank had many, many excuses get the rematch on. Then we’ll know. Eubank not interested in it, type of guy he is, he knows he only had the rematch clause because of his name. No credit from me, Smith was woeful there it pains me to say. Anybody half decent would have done him there.

If you balloon up 3 stone you only have yourself to blame for getting battered like that in the ring. You don’t play with boxing.

He made some excuses in theory but he has just been battered for ten rounds, lost any future paydays, he is allowed to say some words, height of emotion too, jesus, can tell some people don't play sport, I'm sure interview me or others straight after a game and our thoughts in that moment will be totally different to two days later

Name some of these fighters you think would fade into the background after a loss in a fight they believed they were winning and the other guy got lucky?

“Made some excuses in theory” haha what!? They’re either excuses or they’re not? He definitely made excuses, most fighters do to be fair. As I’ve said, only got himself to blame for those excuses really.

There would no appetite for a third fight. Nobody wants to watch that again.

That’s wild. And he had a couple of injuries as well which wouldn’t have helped. He must have been drained AF.

Exact same lol I’m nearly 5’10 and currently 13.5 stone after a summer of food and drink, feel awful. Boxers are probably more inclined to go mad after a fight and months of training but it’s still ill-discipline if you want to fight again.
