He held too much and Smith couldn`t pull the trigger at all.

No I think he should finish. Mediocre not even champion level anymore even though he failed their in his prime also and just damages his fathers name by being a weak waste of sperm.

Most definitely. I hate to see talent & athleticism go to waste and it looks now like he's putting things together and chose the right trainer to help him get them most out of his abilities.

He reminded of Norris in his rematch v Simon Brown except he`s a poor man`s Norris, Smith like Ruiz and Brown just kept waiting for the same opening from the first fight, loading up to land one punch with Eubank moving everytime Smith set himself to punch, it looked like Leonard v During in their third fight.

No. It's impossible to be given how badly compromised and flat Smith was. CEJ had a walking punch bag in front of him who was completely incapable of doing any of the things he does so expertly. If I was to put a percentage on how good or rather terrible Smith looked compared to every other fight in his career I'd honestly put it around 10%.

You can only fight the man who steps in the ring with you. CEJ gave that man one of the biggest boxing lessons I have seen.

I wanted Smith to win. I used to dislike CEJ strongly and it was completely warranted too. But he's grown on me of late and whilst he can still be an insufferable twat at times I'd be a liar if I said I genuinely dislike him anymore. But I'm not going to lie to myself and pretend to others like he wasn't in there with an absolute crippled flat as hell shell of Smith who was so badly compromised he couldn't do a single one of the things he does so well and are his bread and butter. I don't know how anyone can even deny this.

Eubank is nowhere near championship level, never really was his resume clearly demonstrates this, his old man had over 20 defences.
Just let that sink in, Jnr can't get loads of credit for beating a sub par Smith, he just can't.

First part is true. It's not CEJ's fault but it's easy to administer a ''boxing lesson'' when you've got a walking cadaver in front of you who is so badly compromised it renders them completely incapable of doing any of the things they're expert in the art of doing.

I don't know why people just can't be honest here. Honest with themselves as much as anything.

How much worse would Smith have to look for people to admit something was very badly off with him?

Had we seen his usual educated pressure, quality head movement and picking off shots on his arms and gloves as he closes the distance expertly and works his way in, and firing off with his trademark intelligent combos once he gets inside, and CEJ had beaten him then the later would deserve and receive his credit from me for doing so. But Smith was so badly compromised it rendered completely incapable of doing ALL those things not just one of them. It's like fighting a version of Mike Tyson who is incapable of punching with power and speed
