Whether people like Eubank or not, he redeemed himself last night passing the Warrior Code getting back on the horse after a heavy stoppage in the first fight.

Still think Smith entered the ring last night with an ankle/foot injury for the PPV Loot following in the footsteps of Darren Barker and David Haye fleecing the fans.

Why do you assume he came into the ring with an ankle injury?
It wasn’t noticeable at the start. Even when it was clear the ankle/s were affecting him, it was nothing as severe as Haye against Bellew first fight.

True but the issue was the date got pushed back twice already and it seems it was 02/09 or else. If smith pushed it back again Eubank was walking away.

That was as one sided a beat down as you'll ever see.

I had it 100 - 88 when it was stopped.

That was more like CEJ, not the weight drained corpse we saw in January.

    Impressive.

He mentions the weight again in the post fight press conference. There seemed to be some kind of altercation as well.

Well this one didn't sell out like the first fight so theres that for starters. You think fans want to pay to watch a third fight after that beat down? Good luck with that.

A third fight would be a hard sell. Maybe down the line if Smith got some impressive wins but a trilogy fight next? Not as chance.

Seeing takes of "Benn vs Eubank is the fight to save British Boxing"

If that's the case. Load the sport into a coffin, turn on the fire and push it in.

If someone can tell me the time and the crematorium, I'll be there to pay my respects.

Not that easy when the other guy (eubank) will make plenty.

The biggest payday for Eubank is the Benn fight and he would be pretty damn stupid to avoid the Benn fight just because a few people online do not like it.

The reality is that fight sells out at the gate and does v well on ppv. Team eubank know this and last night just confirmed it's going to happen.

Watching the replay and with about 1.10 left to go in the first round after a clinch Liam stretches out and flexes his front leg.

Taking nothing away from Eubank, but I tend to agree with what others have said about Smith going into the fight injured to secure his PPV payday, his movement thereafter was very reminiscent of Haye in the first Bellew fight after his achilles went.

Something clearly wasn't right from the outset.

Bellew, you could sit down and have a pint with. Be a bit of back and forth but you'd reach a similar page in the end.

    Benn... just no.

He either walks very strange all the time or was injured.

Not a Haye foot falling off injury but he appeared to be unable to put pressure on foot from the moment he entered the ring.
